Kinkos has really good sticker paper. it costs about $2 for a sheet of A4 and it sticks way better than Avery.

Or you can get UPS or DHL box labels. Or ask somebody in the US to send you some USPS stix.

Try to really rub em down and get all the air bubbles out when you slap em up. That'll help a bit. But really every kind of sticker paper you buy is gonna peel if someone picks at it. That's just how it goes. Just gotta go make some more and get some more ups.

Averys suck, but not that bad. If you can't hack them for whatever reason try different stickers, but wheatpasting something an inch round is just odd....

Good luck Chub.:( Sorry bout the bad news.

Yeah, I use staples sticker paper, idk if its the same, but yeah, it works alright. usually Ill make sticker version of my wheatepastes when im putting them up in a really heated spot so i can just rub them down and leave, and they work alright. and I just had to take off all my pictures cause my parter( I wont mention his name) is really retarded and basically has all kinds of Bombing science shit on his computer, so im just making sure they dont link the pics with me.

Staples has a printing center similar to kinkos. Or if you town has a local printing place.

Indigo- I really dig the complexity of your stencils. You cant even tell they are stencil. I usually dont go past 3 layers without getting frustrated. :p. anyways, does anyone know where I can get big sheets of sticker paper? I mean, I have staples 11 1/2 x8, but idk if they made any bigger. My stickers seem to last longer then my paste, and I can put them up in more heated places faster.

thanks CHUB :) most I've ever done is 9 layers...I like doing multilayers but they are a pain in the ass to spray. means I make less of each poster because they take so much time.

Sorry, can't help you with where to get bigger sticker paper, but if you find some let me know. Id love to get my hands on some of it as well.

Yeah, Where I live, its more about quantity then quality. Usually most of my posters get taken down/buffed within a week of them getting put up, so there isnt really a point in spending hours making them nice, unless its in a spot where it wont get buffed. That doesnt mean I put up halfass ones either. I usually put up decent ones , I just dont spend alot of time clearcoating it and making it straight, unless its in a mega hot spot. and for right now I have to do the multiple page thing with sticker paper, and that usually doesnt go out so well :p.

Yeah, I like the top one. the whole "interacting" with the environment is something im into. Like one time, I put a cup full of chalk under one of my posters and a speech bubble that said "get started". As far as the angel goes, It seems rather cliche. and unless that gray shading is a paint marker, its gonna fade hella fast. I would also work on drawing skills and whatnot before posting up something with that deep of meaning(not saying you suck, but with characters they need to be either brain dead stupid/simple or super complex, not in between)

    I like the "E"s in that Kleer..hahaha

I don't know what to think of the first poster. The "interactive" element is pretty cool and interesting, maybe I'd give more space for the dotted line. I guess what makes me think is, what if graffiti really WAS legal (which it will never be). I don't think it would be fun anymore. At least with it being illegal, that cuts the amount of people up without talent, skill, or reasonable intellect, down to just the talentless that have balls to risk it. If graff was legal everyone would do it, and the only people that would be good at it are the same people who are doing it now. The ones who are dedicated enough to it to risk their ass to put it up, and alot of them suck too. haha. Fact is, I don't want to see EVERYONE do graffiti, because most people will invest nothing into what they put up and most people will just emulate the same old shit they already saw. Good example of that is Legal walls. I'm not sure how all of them work, but we have a legal alley and it's a fun chill spot to paint with friends or if you want the community to peep your shit, but nothing rides for long in there. When graff is permitted, all the pussies that wouldn't dare touch your shit on the street, run through there and they'll just straight up scribble over your 3 hour piece or poster, because they know they can't get in trouble for it. For all the good work you get out of legal graffiti, there's 5 times as much bad shit. Random "tagger" scrawls, and I call it that because it's made by someone who's never even tried filling a single notebook with handstyles, and has no knowledge of the difference between tagging, and piecing. What's more offensive than that?

ANyway, that's kind of off topic, but it's an interesting thought. As for the angel, the poster version could use a revamp. It sort of looks S&M-yy and the angel kinda looks like he's dancing with christmas ornaments wrapped around him and bits of douglas fir scattered about. It's happy. It's festive. I don't think that's what you were going for, but I commend you for thinking outside the box.:) I'd rather see something like that up, than alot of other shit, even without a revamp.

yah your right, I did screw up the poster version, il have to revamp that (any tips)

the "interactive part" is between the 2 dotted lines

If someone would want to actually turn my original into their version of a poster, that would be very appreciated and im could return favours?

And yah, i wasnt trying to make graffiti legal, i ws just trying to maybe influence the odd person or see us as more than thugs
