well the easiest thing for me is i just have a bunch of background laying around in my room and eventually something just pops in my head and ill fuck around with it till i get it right

those arent pen tags, its just scriblles which are over the entire canvas, then i painted over it so its very faint, but it fades to white in the top left corner. and yah i sold the can already
For this it would have been tight if you over extended the shadow or did the shadow directly to the left or right.
