No. You normally buy them at the register, so your best MO would be to buy it at one store and use it at other stores. And no, it isn't going to help with sensors.

well if you put the boxes in a garbage can and go to self checkout,
it wont rattle or clang together as much. and you can probably get away with about 10boxes. then unload it in your car, ask a friend or something to walk back with the garbage can and the receipt, load the garbage can again, and when they ask for receipt show them, and make your way back to the car.

    120cans

i dont understand how anyone could get away with that garbage can bullshit, at the homedepot here employees are always walking around past the isles.. what would you plan on doing, taking the boxes to a far back empty isle along with the trashcan in a basket then putting them in the trash can?

If you have time to stuff your jacket, or bookbag with cans, you can def. stuff a garbage can.

thats pretty risk though if someone takes a peak in the trash can, or they try and move it for the barcode and notice how goddamn heavy it is.

thats why self check out is there, and most of the time, they just use those hand held scanners for larger items

yeah but i can be quick with a bookbag because i can only fit around 14 cans in it, but a trash can takes time because your loading around 50+ cans into it.. how would you go about ringing up a big trash can at self checkout, put the barcode on the lid, take the lid off real quick, scane it, then hit bulk?

ya but with the self checkout things that I've been to are all weird. The weight of the items didn't match what it should of so it wouldn't let me continue

so, every home depot has self-checkout?

coz last time i was there i didn't notice any self checkouts...

man, that garbage can thing would be too hard for me to do........coz for 1. i rack by myself 2. i dont got a car

the scanners only scan barcodes, not weight. i was at walmart, and i stuffed a bookbag full of kiwi shoe polishes and rusto paint before, and went to self checkout and it scanned it. $5.99 for the bookbag when the stuff inside was about 35$ the only way it wont let you scan it, is if you don't know how to scan it or if the barcode is folded/ripped.

bounty, not every home depot is the same so im not sure where to locate your self checkouts, but its normally 10ft away from the cashiers. and im not telling anyone to do it, its just much easier to get away with 100cans rather than having your pants and jacket rattle everytime you walk..

    alright, first off:
your probly 13 and dont even know the basics about racking.
you obviously dont no how to handle yourself in a situation that would call for getting out of a search by an employee.
if you have to ask us where blind spots are, your an idiot cause every walmart is different
dont start raking unless your prepared to take the full fall. ie cops, fines, parents.
