The easiest paste is water and flour, and put it up with either your hands or a brush...

So I did some exploring yesterday and found this sweet abandoned building with shit tons of wall space, and suprisingly theres no graffiti. Perfect spot for a mural/callage piece. Pics coming soon.

I wouldn't use good paint like belton or mtn.
But it'll be a great place to practice.

Adhesive spray isn't that good. You could easily pick at it, and it'll come off.

Yeah, Ive used spray adhesive before, but if your gonna get some, get 3m, the good shit. Not as good as wheatepasting, but better then most aerosal adhesives. Be sure to clear coat your poster with valspar or krylon clear coat, since you dont have the layer of paste to cover your poster.

I have never done wheatpastes so I have few questions..

Will that wheatpaste mixture smell after?(that flour and water stuff) Just want to know because if my furigirator is going to smell like shit, then my parents are going to kill me.
I have also heard that putting sugar in your mixture makes it stick more and then its harder to get the poster down, is it true?
And do the overpainter phonebook pages work fine? Or are they just waste of time? (holy shit, I made it rhyme)

It will smell after 1 or 2 days if you refrigerate it. I found it to smell kind of like semen or rotten eggs. Plus it becomes useless after a day. and Yes, I found if you add about a handful of suger to the paste WHILE your mixing it, it becomes alot more stickier. ALot of these questions are repeated back in the earlier thread, so just read through the pages before you start asking, you will be suprised how many of your questions will be answered :p

I like it. If its computer printed, it probably wont last long in the sun/elements, so make sure you double up on layers over the top. btw, if your going to be doing pastes that small, an easier way to put em up is to just buy sticker paper( staples-staples specialty sticker paper-$7) and just make it a sticker :p.
