yeah man i couldnt agree more- this is graffiti you go around leaving your mark. it doesnt matter who you go over, in other cities nobody cares everything is repainted over all the time. graffiti is graffiti, it doesnt matter where its from and if its old then its old and gets boring after too long. I drive by old shit all the time and i say to myself "i already saw that on the internet last year, i wish somebody would go over it so i can see something new"
It is a sad state of affairs when Miami writers sit around and complain all day about out of towners. I have lived in other cities where out of towners were always a problem to the locals and its pathetic the way grown men and women complain about "invaders". Miami has always been a tourist city, that trickles down into graffiti too, and writers from NYC and CALI both paved the way down here years ago for us to follow. Some of the most prevalent "Miami" writers, were not born here and did not even get their graffiti starts here but they ended up here and thats all that matters. MSK crew has always had close ties to South Florida, and they have always been welcomed down here, it just so happens that this year they brought more people than usual, big fucking deal. Go get your flicks of the peices all these out of towners did and appreciate the fact that they put their styles on display for people who might never get to make it to the West Coast, Europe, or Nyc. And maybe next year the anticipation of all these travelers will actually spark the fire under someones ass to go out and flex on all those fools. But complaining about it on online forums for whats going on about 12 pages now is beating a dead horse.
