Does anyone know a recipe for making oil pastels?... I've done some searching around the net and only came up with these two recipes for pastels.

These recipes aren't quite what I was hoping for, seeing as these people are concerned with making them archivable on paper, and I just want to make something like a markal for tagging.

 

get yourself a markal then, and oil pastels arent ink so you should be posting in the streaks etc. thread.

well you can mke liek crayon type streaks if you melt soem crayons, petroluem jelly, and paint together

#1- What's the difference between Marsh ink and Marsh "stencil" ink? Stencil ink (in the jug, not that vvvv stuff) is slightly cheaper, but is it a solid base ink to add shit to?

zombie ink isn't worth buying from what i heard. it stains for shorter periods of time. except the tinted color does leave a cool effect. flows thru mops easyer then makers.

 

zombie ink is good, and so is smash, and smash stains and retains good color.

the marsh spray ink is what it says, just liek paint, but ink, like alcohol based paint basically, and a lot thinner. maybe stains? idk

and idk about the stencil inks, google teh msds's for it, and find the ingredients
