I haven't skated since April 20, 2008. I was riding my 1970 original longboard; gel wheels, eagle II trucks, and a pretty badass racing-stripe in the grip-tape. It rode so smooth and so fast - it only took a few pumps to get going fast. I just about cum every time I took it for a spin.

Anyways, after a nice 4/20 sesh with my friends, I was skating home, baked out of my head, when I fell. My board rolled onto the road and was run over by a car, I stood there for about 10 minutes with my mouth dropped, and my hands on my head. Goddamn. It sucked so bad.

The damage is not even that terrible, I'm just too lazy to fix it. It definitely wont ride the same at all, if I ever do fix it up.

 

first of all you shoulda never road that board! goddamnit you hang that shit up and never touch it! well if you can fix the damage please please just hang it up and never touch it, just look at it every day and be like damn, yeah that shits mine, and if you can upload some pics of it

 

I just took a look at it for the first time since the summer, it's been hiding under my bed. The damage is not bad at all, really. The deck is fine, which is the important thing. The front truck is fucked, and the front-right wheel is damaged, but that's the worst of it.
But overall, it's in better shape than I remembered.

No pics yet, though. I'm waiting on a camera.

They kick ass... I actually started Freebording before I had ever snowboarded, when I finally did go snowboarding I was riding black diamond runs my first day... It's extremely similar feel.
