    Does hydroflouric acid not take rust off metal, as opposed to etchin it?
    I'd watch with that shit lol, dependin on the concentration it's pretty dangerous

    it attacks zinc and aluminum which make stainless steel stainless, so then those areas rust over time, same with hydrochloric acid.
    only thing better about hydroflouric is that it also etches glass, and will etch metals faster

    Oh ok, the one in the middle :confused: lol

    But yea I've been using hydrofluoric acid for glass and metals but hydrochloric acid is cheaper so if it worked the same i would just use that instead.

    hydrochloric is def for metals
    but so can hydroflouric, theyre both acids

    2H3PO4 + 3Zn --> Zn3(PO4)2 + 3H2

    zinc aluminum, iron magnesium, theyre all higher than hydrogen on the activity series, AKA when they come in contact with a Hydro--- acid they will replace it.

    So if i use any bleed through chemicals in an mek based ink would it dissolve and not work or is it soluble cause it really doesn't tell you in msds.

    well if it dissolves that means it is soluble, but yes they do dissolve, since its not really oil based. like acetone, theyre both ketones, and they can mix wiht alcohol and oil. so if the crystals dont dissolve(which they should), then the topical solutions should

    Its an additive, able to put in just about anything it seems like (sunscreen to perfume). Damn. Kick ass find. Now the trick is to find out how to get it or start up your stove and get some sunscreen.
