anyone played the resident evil 5 demo? i think i'm gonna download it. *edit* downloaded it overnight and went to play it this morning. first level is hard as a motherfucker.
i only played it once. i let it download overnight, and i played it first thing when i woke up, and i just didn't feel like attempting it again. they don't give you enough ammo. i spent most of the time running away. i had re4 on game cube though, so i gotta admit that the controls feel a lot better on xbox. any gold members playing it on live?
i think my gold expires in a few days (whoever said that those cards didn't need to be activated is a liar cuz the one i jacked from walmart doesnt work). I would give out my gamertag but im to embarrassed to cuz i suck like fuck
You're kidding man? The cube controls felt so natural. The xbox controller really isnt suited to resi in my opinion. Shoot should be A not X. Your finger naturally goes to A and that just makes you reload. The controls just feel really clunky to me. Also I preffered the menu that paused the game whilst you selected your weapons/items. In this one you're surrounded by infected and your'e faffing about looking through a menu trying to find the rifle. I suppose they had to do that though because of the co-op element. The co-op is another thing that I don't really like. Normally co-op is great in games and makes it more fun. But in resi games part of the horror comes from you being alone with no one coming to help you. Resi 4 was hardly terrifying so I fear 5 is going to be even less scary.
Well my brief encounter with xbox live has come to an end, for now. I'm playing cod4 and all the sudden my screen starts having this green tint to it, it didn't really bother me, but now I don't even get picture when I turn on my xbox. I know its not my tv, I'm not getting the "ring of death," and I know the yellow-white-red cords are put in correctly. The picture just doesn't show. Anyone else have this problem? I'm going to have to call support.
they went in a complete wrong direction with the series. they stopped making it about zombies, and tried to make the situations seem more possible. i hate that shit. and you're right, the menu in re5 sucks. i had that problem too. but i'm not sure what you mean by x being the shoot button. i'm pretty sure the right trigger is the shoot button. could be wrong. i did only play it once.
Fuck microsoft. I probably got it from some sort of upgrade. They have so much money and resources ciculating....and yet they still manage to fuck over their customers like a shady car mechanic. Fuck'em. Thanks Ume.
A while ago, I use to get a completely green screen, lagging gameplay, and my Xbox was freezing. I thought my Xbox was at fault but after taking off my hard-drive all of these problems went away. I went to return my hard-drive and bought a new one and now everything is alright. I don't know whether this is the same thing but I suggest you take off your hard-drive and try an start your Xbox. It worked for me...
