Ok thanks man. Ok so I also have a few toy questions. Im just getting into making my own ink and mops and shit. And Im planning on making my own pen ink brew thing. You know the thing on the first page of the recipes thread. I was just wondering if that 99% alcohol stuff that everyone uses is the same as isopropyl alcohol? Because Ive seen some ink tuts and some have isoprpyl and some just say the 99% alcahol or whatever.
If possible, use varsol instead. I'd reccomend you use good pens, shitty pens usually leave chunks in my ink
You can get any type of alcohol in 99% form, you would just have to go to a specialty sciece store. Other than that, you can get denatured alc at hardware stores. Use 3/4 cup of alc to 100 pens. It will be more opaque and won't fade as fast.
k thanks. ive just made a mop out of acrylic thinned out with a bit of water . its in a glue pen. whats something i can add to make it dry faster ?
yeah i got a magnum 44 marker thats running on empty... n before i start mangling it im wonderin are they refillable.... if i take the felt out... anyways yeah thatd be nice to know before it dies, cuz its a nice marker peace
Yeah I just couldnt get my hands on any bucket paint or alcohol to make good paint/ink. So I just racked a couple tubes of acrylic and bought a glue pen haha.
idk wat it is about these markers but im addicted to the black ones... soo black and they write on concrete too....i know its water based and out here itll get buffed ne way...i dnt care... but its sooo fuckin nice...way better than zig postermans...u can hold the nib in and squeeze the body to flood the nib for drips....man....sexy....i almost came rite now guys i aint gonna lie...
I love Terra Cotta's too, the lighter colors really don't hold up to the buff at all. But I've tried buffing old black tags that I've done with those and they were actually pretty hard to get off and they stained pretty hard. But yeah, there definetly my favorite marker, they don't leak after you open and then screw it back on.
does anyone know where i can get a marker similar to what earsnot uses in infamy to hit daytime spots? it writes like a normal kiwi but its round and seems a lot bigger
merde... the sport ones in my city only come in wide-ish chunky bottles. whatevs ill stick to the regular ones until i can find some of those thanks tho
Im having trouble with my nib on my K-71 silver krink marker. I tried letting it soak to clean it in Acetol (denatured alcohol.) It cleaned a little bit but the ink still flows over the top of the nib and not through it. Any suggestions? ALso any recomendations for ink replacement cause my bleed thru blue is almost out.
