If I could add a perspective on this that I think most people that have already stated their ground can respect... Eminem had 3 good albums Marshall Mathers Lp, Slim Shady Lp, and Infinite (which most people have never heard) This album has somewhat gone back to the old attitude but still has that stupid accent that he seemed to start when he did "Ass Like That" The lyricism on this album is second to none, The Beats are Legit, but his wierd accent that he picked up over time sucks and ruins alot of the music for me... I would take the new Del disc over this anyday and this just isnt as good as the old school Eminem from back in the day... and Soulja Boy sucks, is that even a question? and Lil' Wayne seems to be mirroring Kanye West, Kanye went vocode, Wayne went vocode, Kanye went to singing, Wayne is now a rock artist... that shit is all hype take it for what it is... they both have talent but the corporations swallowed their souls.
his voice on relapse is the slim shady persona, and if you listen to the stever berman skit on the album at the end eminem throws down two discs which could mean nothing or it could be forshadowing a potential 2nd album comming...which if em's smart he'll drop something as solid as the marshall mathers lp with some funny and a whole lot of more serious work.
