did you notice the newest update how it lets you purchase new gear for your avatar?

well instead of paying real dollars you can also earn gear for your avatar through games,this is called an award.
though it doesnt tell you specificly what you have to do to earn the award(complete a mission rah rah rah) it also doesnt tell you which games give you awards and which dont(do i have to play all my old games again or buy new ones and clock them) i dont know...wish they had of explained things a little better but anyways thats all i know about the awards

microsoft said that they were thinking of making it so that u could get awards from old games but their just going to do it with new games like cod6 and halo odst

ye should try the massively multiplayer version man .. it might work better. depends on yer spec. but obv!

 

i have this same dilemma. my girl seems to like left 4 dead.
other than that, i haven't been able to find a good co-op game.
tried kane & lynch. it's pretty fucking hard. but we've just about beat it.

 

I was thinking left 4 dead myself, is the second one out?
Is it fun? I've heard mixed reviews.

 

the second one is coming out november 17th.
it's pretty fun for a while.

it gets old kinda quick though.
it's worth a rent at least.

It wasen't THAT bad, it just took some geting used to, but I did sell my copy of it and might rent it or find a cheap copy just to beat it finally.

Left for dead is great..one of my favorite titles.

For co-op, the Lego series are always alot of fun. Army of Two was o.k. as a co-op game. Resident Evil is fun split-screen although I still don't like the targeting system sometimes.

 

We played lego indiana jones on wii a while ago, all we did was argue haha.
I think we're going to wait until l4D 2 comes out.

 

some of the arcade games are okay.
i just got this one tonight called castle crashers.
it's a pretty sweet side scrolling, button mashing rpg.
kinda reminds me of golden axe.

me and my girl have been playing it all night.
