View attachment 510397 aesir- pure dopeness love the faces ryser- maybe make the E like block like the rest of ur name
Aesir i like the first two. But the middle part of the E is a little too skinny. Nice job on that pumpkin. tea-make sure all the lines on your 3d/shadow go in the same direction and stick with like a plain color...ditch those lines
Snore- Clean..maybe bend the S a little more DestroyLA-your shading is off cant really tell whats going on, also feels like your S is top heavy, let it get a little looser and maybe tilt back and to the left?? Viral-like where your going, some of your edges seem to jagged...maybe straighten some stuff up a bit..lil clean up? I borrowed this girls Kewel felT pens in class! slek- the lines in the fill are too random. Some are farther apart from others. I like your style, it's simple but effective, keep it up.
Mmk...I think I took this as simple as I could. Style is kept to an absolute minimum. No arrows. I used graph paper (which I almost never do...but I wanted my letters to be the same size). So assuming this is simple. And indeed an acceptable step...what should be added on next to progress it...or what needs to be edited before that can happen.
keep in mind that all of these have been done in less than a week, which may account for some of the overall sloppiness. If they're crap then yea thats just me cover of my new blackbook 'Economics' thing I did in-you guessed it, economics class 'SonnyT' piece. my old tag name. Terrrrrrible lettering New name? 'Chalk' sketch throwup 'Dank' piece. A friend in my math class wanted me to do one that said 'dank.' This is what came out the other side
The best advice I can give you, is to go as simple as possible. Start trying strait letters, with simple fills, and a simple drop. Eventually, youll get the hang of it.
I think he means bend it by bringing the tails of the S in towards the middle a little bit, like as if you were going to make an 8 out of it
Hey what do you mean by "a simple drop?" Maybe its cause I'm a noob but I've never heard that term before
Gum on shoe-Theres already a pretty big Snore up in Ontario. http://www.iloveletters.ca/WALLS/PhotoPages/SNOREwall4.htm with ALOT of ups.
I was trying a new letter constructing technique using "blocks" like they teach you in the new to graff thread. Here is after all the blocks were assembled and insides were cleaned out. [Broken External Image]:http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/9480/photo19g.jpg Here is after the corners were rounded and then traced with pen. [Broken External Image]:http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/2614/photo20e.jpg Here is after a blue painters out line and thickend pen lines. [Broken External Image]:http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/2741/photo21b.jpg Going to grab some colored pencils and color it in when i get home. Any Crits? I know the S and the E could come together some.
