Upstate - Lookin' good. I'd really like to see it with some 3D and color. Like that abstract, out of the box style.

Abor - That throw is pretty tight. It's got some flow.

MantS - Keep up the good work. I love Euro style. I like the fourth one down. I'd like to see that on the side of one of them fancy passenger trains you got down under.

Alts - I found a huge roll of canvas in a sailmakers lot. Look around your local area. Check local printers/dyers. Makes for a quick practice wall. Just gotta' build a light frame from 2x3's. You can make it to withstand the elements outside, or make a few smaller panels to bring in during the winter. I found it to be cheaper than plywood. Just another possibility.

 

sick dude i wanan see them canvases when ur done. and with throwies its all just practice, get a half dozen cans and go out n hit up a train yard; if u can find the time. its good practice and usually no heat.

yeah, im not a huge fan of the euro stuff unless its done very well. but to each his own.

the only reason i have been tryin to keep my sketches under 20 min is to like force myself to come up with new stuff i guess. not all of them are timed. its just until i find something i like then i will spend more time with it

You already noticed your problem on the Z. Other than that, I don't really like the top of your R/the shape of the hole in it, but that might just be me. S and E look good, but I'd lose the weird squiggle white fill in the I, but I get that you were just tryna switch shit up.

i think the letters are poorly done. no consistency, total overuse of drips and spaghetti lines coming off what i believe is an "I" etc. definitely toy forum. not trying to be a dick (especially since we have all been where you are), but its reality; keep practicing.
