That wall hogging is like, a game in my city. Peeps just hit spots and expect them to stay up for years. It's fucking gay. But, If you leave a half empty can on the ground, there's always a chance some kid will come write his name everywhere, thus freeing space. Also, Throw up over tage, piece over throwie. Go get 'em, kid.
Low pressure cans make it really easy to keep it crisp and skinny. also cutting back on your lines can do the same thing.
Hey i was jw if its possible to use stamp pad ink for anything? it dosent stick to anything it comes off with like a wet rag so is there any way to turn that into a good ink for a mop or something? if so any help would be appreciated.
look at the ingredients/label if its water based, then no; but its alcohol based then i'd say give it a shot.
hey. i racked a basic set of prismas, and im having a hard time with them...they bleed like a virgin and i really dunno how to work with them is there a thread that deal with prismas? or a site? any help would be ill.
What end are you using? The thin side bleeds alot if you go slow so keep it fast. They don't bleed as hard if you use them on canvas or any smooth materiel. I find the darker colours bleed alot harder then the lighter ones, So that's another thing to look for. Hope that answerd some of your questions.
any of you guys ever tried making custom shirts/hats before? i'm wondering which t would work best, a 100% cotton or a cotton/polyester? n for whats goin on them, it'll be a mix of airbrush, fabric markers and spray paint
sank. - ive made some shirts before using stencils and what not using spray paint and fabric markers...its kinda of anoying and after a few washes the spray paint fades and the shirt becomes dirty looking...ive been thinking about buying a screen printing kit, which is much better quality and look so yeah Uh whats the best marker to use when wanting to add "white" highlights to your sketches...??
with prismas its all about the paper. get something like this [Broken External Image]:http://www.utrechtart.com/images/products/26507.jpg use cotton. poly is wack. and use acrylic, not spray. and never use your dryer.
if your using prismas and your going slow put a piece of construction paper behind the page your working on. then you wont have to worry about that virgin blood seeping through what ever your working on. same goes for most markers you use. just an extra piece of paper will do you fine
yeh im recommending marker specific paper. they are fine fibered and often have and slight 'waxed' back to prevent bleed through. your lines will be very crisp relative to printer paper, it also allows you to put on several layers. and blend nicely.
Word, but Copic makes paper/books for markers too, just wondering if you've used either, and how they compare if you've tried both.
noandno. i have prismas and use marker paper with a dinosaur and some other shit on the cover (forget brand) im sure the copic would be fine though.
Yeah, I have yet to find a place selling Copic stuff near by, I'll probably have to order them online.
Alright i got a pretty toy question. I been trying to do this star or what ever you want to call it effect for a while now and i cant seem to do it. Like the one in the picture. Mine turns out all wrong and ruins the throwy. Any advice would be great. btw thats a stolen picture.
Its really hard to explain. The way I do it is I start the spray kinda far away from the wall to get that light misty look then I move it closer to get the thick dot in the center. Then just slash the glare streaks or whatever you wanna call em. Everyone has their own style
Make an X. When doing the lines come from far away from the wall at the ends of the X and go close at the middle of the cross. Make shure the lines ar crisp at the center and dusty on the ends. Now starting at the middle of the X make a gradient fade going outwards. Thats just one way to do them. Just by looking at each type of "shine" or "star" you can see how to do it.
