im trying to get my tagz better before i go into sketching alot more.
question- why is it when i make my own variation of a style its crap but when i bite it looks like scribbles and no flow?

 

Don't bite or make a new style, just look at your keyboard and draw those letters.

Took me ages to realise that bars will help so much. And a a gradual progression from the plain letter to the embellished final product.

 

thanks for the help on the marker question that paper works alot better...i have a new problem...i am having trouble figuring out fills. i cant figure out how to make them flow. its not the colors so much as the designs.

 

do simple fills. look at simple pieces in you city, get inspired.
solid colors work man

you can do stars with stock tips...its harder but it can be done.

not always a good idea.if you live in a rich white suburban neighborhood you have no business being in the ghetto.your gonna get robbed and beat the fuck down.so have fun with that..the hood is no place for some white boy to get caught painting/slipping.

 

White suburban areas have more cops than any other area.
