so i decided to make a myspace (lame i know) for my photography and design stuff. here's what i got in the description does it sound lame? lol My name is -----. I am a photographer and designer. I support the local music scene as much as I can and like to help bands out. I do however plan to do senior portraits for people who can't afford the sometimes ridiculous prices of studios or any portraits for that matter as well as helping models add to their portfolio and in return I add to mine. Some services i offer include (but are not limited to): Band promotional shoots Senior Portraits Live band pictures Myspace layouts shirt designs Band logos Posters I will try our best to make sure you are satisfied. prices vary we can work something out. if you can't afford something, but can hook me or my band up with maybe some recording time or something useful, we can talk. or catch me in a good mood and i might do something for free. contact me on here if you're looking to have something done. Thanks im going to add an email on there too.
haha i actually changed it after i read it. i made the original thing a while ago and was just doing band myspaces and stuff and was more lax. tho myspace is lame, its a good way to market urself i think edit- this tumblr shit is confusing lol
Im gonna send my entry next week. Battle is in 10 days anyway heres all of my brothers cameras. which i use View attachment 519768 View attachment 519769 silver one is a film camera
im gonna be shooting my first band show this weekend, pretty stoked hartleyphotos shoots alot of really great bands for the fallen dreams <-------- <3 anyways, i was sorta looking into getting the shit for the creative lighting system, perv, can you hook it up with that ebay link again? i went DITC on the thread but couldnt find it whats the deal on that, can you set up more than 1 remote flash, or how many can you set up, i want to beable to use atliest 3 extra remote flashes home production/playing with fire/i love hats ..i forgot who just posted pics of fire and shit but it inspired me to play with fire and take pictures in the process
Those photos with the flames are sweet, but you should crop off the extra like whats not in the mirror. Get a plain background so it doesn't distract the photo. Try to shoot one in pure darkness too.
heres a tip, just because you have a really expensive camera, you are not a photographer, and you should not open up a photography business. its really pathetic.
Theres a difference between "opening a business" and offering to take pics of bands and such. But thanks for the tip.
I would buy this if you want three flashes. They have options for four receivers or more. http://cgi.ebay.com/3-Receiver-Remo...ZCamera_Camcorder_Remotes?hash=item41494f31db Also If I were you I'd buy some stands for the flashes, unless your cool with just sitting them ontop of the monitor speakers and things like that. Might vibrate and fall of and break though. They have to be used on manual, so make sure you practice with them and get some settings that work. I usually have my flash on around half power at around F/9 and 1/125th of a second. I play around those numbers more or less.
Just spent $2 on a tripod Goodwill motherfucker! My 285 should be here by monday, but the triggers are coming from hongkong, so I won't see those until december.......
