Who has used white Marsh with Garvey? I want to see pictures, but can't find any. I'm wondering whether it's worth the extra 5 dollars.

I personally hate all pigmented inks which are basically paint...
Marsh is not very permanent doesnt really get into the surface.
Garvey is better straight or mixing it with other alcohol based inks the one thing that i have found about Garvey is that it is not weather reistant, when it rains the tag will stay but the bottom of the letters will drip...

^Nah I just live a pretty rainy city where weather changes from 90 degrees to snowing the next...

I was talking about Garvey straight...
I'll post pics latter when its not raining...

yea garvey does that because ts extremely concentrated dye, so teh extra dye thats just sittin on top can come off.

if you want to add pigments you'll need a binder to suspend them in the ink--shellac will work for alcohol based inks.
