my parents are both from the south and like to beat my ass alot haha.my dad left when i was 5 and that fucked up my mom alot on a emotional and financial level. times been rough since then.poverty,constant fights,stressed out to the max.yeah.likf sucks right now...my mother isnt very loving i guess you could say. we rarely talk and she rarely shows any type of emotion, ever. which i see in myself more and more over the years.and also i havent seen most of my family since i was like 8. like my whole family on my dads side i havent seen in forever,let alone heard from them. everyone on my moms side is dead basicly...so its me and my mom more or less.


i dont really have a relationship with my family i guess you could say.

I just convinced my parents that it's art and I'm really good at it. My mom's always been the artsy one in the family and she's done a lot of work with aerosol to not really start buggin' out about it, plus they've seen my sketches and blackbooks around the house so whatever. All I usually get from my mom is "What does that say?" haha.

 

My parents have alot of shit for me back when I was younger..even though they are both a bit fucked and have some issues I have to have respect for what they have done and gone through,in three years they say 'I can do whatever the fuck I want' so be it Im training to be a homeless person who can be intelligent enough to know whats down.
Probably Im not going to like it,clear my head of a lifelong fantasy,get a job and a place,but Ill see once I get there.

My brothers an ex marine that after hey got out of boot camp faked a broken leg so he could get a honorable discharge cus hes a pussy, my parents constantly yell at me about grades and say that theres something wrong with me since im edge and dont fit with anyone at school, my dad always talks to me about how when he was a kid he wouldnt dare to disrespect his parents like i do and that he wished he joined the military when he was younger so he always annoys me about that, and my moms a bitch

I'm still living with my parents, as is my 24 year-old sister (I'm 20). I probably won't be moving out for another couple of years, but my parents better have my back after I move out because they just dropped a bomb on me over the weekend... They've gotten into some financial issues and my dad has been in and out of jobs because he has depression and social issues. Anyway, they've ended up digging deeper and deeper into debt and borrowing money from my sister and I. They ended up borrowing ~$2k from me and I don't know how much from my sister, saying that they'd pay it back. Well they ended up at a financial counselor and they suggested that the only way to get out of this is to start working harder and to just tell us that they can't pay us back. So I'm out $2,000 to save their asses. I know they've provided me with a roof and raised me and whatnot, but is it just me, or is that extremely fucked up?

My mother found another man last year moved to another state, took 3/4 of my dads super anuation which is like 350,000 plus 15,000 in child support sayin we live with her when we didnt and now my dad has to pay all the bills, morage and my school fees. 2,000 is nothing and at 20 you should at least have a job or be studying something at college.

 

I'm going to college full-time and working full-time. I've bought all of my possessions since I started working at age 14, including 2 cars, my laptop, camera, etc. Your situation sounds really fucked, on a much larger scale, but I still can't quite grasp my situation. It's really unfair and they know it.

And for a 20 year-old college student, you can't deny that $2k is a lot of money in terms of my situation.

 

Lately me and my parents relationship has been sucking. Once you actually start painting and getting up the people around you will find out so they know I write now and they cant understand why I havent stopped so that pisses them off. They now also know I smoke weed which they didnt go insane over but it has just made shit more stressful...I used to get terrible grades but Ive smartened up and I do fine in school now which is the least I can do for my parents and myself. My mom is alot worse then my dad plus she drinks quite alot so when that happens I get the worstt, its alot better at my dads house but whatever I got a couple more years of school and then Ill be out and they wont have to worry as much....it really does make me feel like shit, they shouldnt have to worry about me so much. it could be so much worse though at least I have two parents that love me enough to worry about me, I shouldnt even be complaining.

I fully intend on leaving one day and never telling anyone. And never getting in touch with anybody ever again. I have thought this through thoroughly and I have weighed gthe good and bad of doing this, and I still plan on it. But I also just have the personality and mindset to not care. Some people may regret it.
