Ive used belton, its more of a low pressure paint. If your gonna do some straights or a piece it will work best for that. its high pressure enough to bomb though idk i prefer rusto over all this shit its too expensive and rusto is free..i mean if you got the dough for all that nice paint then go for it but if its hard to afford all that shit i dont really think its worth paying for when rusto is perfectly fine
has anyone seen a piece where fine art techniques were mixed with graff? specifically, my next piece im planning to do as pointillism
reyes awr always does that lol he touches up with paintbrushes and markers if thats what u mean... i consider it not graff
Ive heard stories of people, painting in the rain, they go and paint in the rain anyway. but some say they dont cuz the paint drips and looks ugly. can you paint a wet wall with out it looking shitty? or is it just better to wait til tomorrow when its dry/
i did this when it was pouring ass rain, i could tell the wall was soaked, it came out fine though, i think like if u painted a brick wall that was covered in paint AND wet itd drip a lot though, this wall was bare
I know there's one guy in SF who does but I'm lost on his name right now. I think it has an X in it? I'm sorry, I'm just like blanking out
I love when people mix it up and do original ass shit. A know a bunch of guys who use different approaches toward graff. Intense soulful stuff.
Okay so I know to get better you gotta practice practice practice, but what are you supposed to practice? -Alm
as big as tags are in the graffiti world, i say fuck tags. half the "good" taggers cant bomb for shit. which means their pieces look like a drunk 3rd grader did them. Practice on your pieces using bars, 3d and its vanishing points, shadows are a must, also incorporate YOUR style. Remember, The best graffiti artists are GREAT all around artists. The best Taggers are GREAT all around nobody's!
Can I write "jek" without getting any beef? I searched google images for "jek graffiti" and a couple pieces and throw ups showed up. Or is "jek" not that well known and should I be fine?
Slitt on some levels I agree many taggers arnt serious about graffiti, they tag for the hell of it, but many great pieces come out of people following their tag styles. Almega - Do what you feel you need to do to improve, just say you took it off someone elses style if you plan on posting it. And remember start developing your own style, dont be a copycat forever.
Alright sounds good. Haha, those are my best letters in my handstyle. Probably will change over time if I develop my other letters, but for now, I'll write jek.
msk are my best letters... anyone write that? lol and almega i dont think its a good idea to like trace or copy a piece, it wont really help u until u fully understand bars and 3d and color balance... once u get those ull be able to develop ur own pieces, copying would be like a kid in algebra writing down equations from advanced calculus, ull know what the numbers are but not what they mean or where they come from u feel me?
