Just go black and white. Extra simple. Maybe a contrasting color for the final outline. Just a single outline, no bubbles or fancy shit.

Chiefy - you need to work on your can control ay, your lines are wobbly as hell. I dont mind the blend (not too bad for what looks to be shitty paint) but if you are worried about the amount of paint you have to use, then sketch the piece onto the wall first so you can at least make all your letters the same size. If you have to go smaller, go smaller overall ay.
Try throwing a basic 3D on it next time too.
Practise makes perfect.
