I never knew I could be in trouble with cops if i am out at 2am and I'm under 18. I have been out at 2am atleast 15 times. 3 of those times I have been to the shops and the cashiers just say "Hello, how is your day?" haha.

^^^all good answers 1. i've used the fighting with g/f and walking home cuz she drove off one. 2. was at a party and got into an arguement with friend, he was my ride and gotta walk home. 3. just broke up with my girlfriend, going for a walk to clear my head.
I just say I got kicked out of a party and then give them some bullshit street that the "party" is on. Usually the cops will just tell me to get home safe and rush off to bust the so called party.
apparently one of my friends had a cop roll up on him and when the cop rolled down his window to talk my friend was like "officer, you missed it! there was this big fight just around the corner!" and the cop pulled off. then again that kid's sorta slickk, so it probably went a little different.
They arrest you. Anyway, just tell a cop you just got off a fifteen hour shift at your work and you're headed home. Assuming you have no cans on you, no cop is going to arrest you for walking at 2 a.m. if you're over 18. And if you do have cans they would need probably cause to place you under arrest. Now, a cop can legally hold you in the state of Texas for 45 minutes without charging you, but if you ask them for their badge number and report them holding you without warrant they will be reprimanded. You don't really need excuses unless you are actually doing something/planning on doing something illegal.
