i paid 190 usd for it, which isnt much compared to 600 for an r3m + 60 for an adapter. from what ive read it had very good build quality, plus my yashica electro is pretty old and its still doing fine. that cloth is repulsive ^ and right now were 4 to 2 portrait to architecture. ill wait on more votes but it looks like were doin portrait.

I vote portrait. Just a quick question... AK, what's the best '3rd party' lenses for Nikon in your opinion? (Just because you're a Nikon knowledge book, haha.) I have a Tamron 100-300mm, the quality isn't bad but the lens itself feels generally cheap. Any info on Tonika or Sigma would be appreciated.
Comparing tokina and sigma, tokina = built like fucking tanks, heavy, metal, but relatively unsophisticated. sigma = have sophisticated lenses and lots of variety, but feel cheapish, but no where near as cheap as tamron rubbish. I can vouch for tokina having owned a few. I own a sigma 15-35mm now and it's ok, except it is not sharp in the corners at most apertures. It is one of sigmas more expensive lenses so the build quality is ok but it's no tokina.
