Mate, it simply messing with curves and colour overlays. Or if you can't be bothered, download this: A dope suite with lots of presets for use with colour.

    Color Efex Pro for Photoshop

    PC

    MAC

Everyone should download this really. The best ones to use for those colour schemes are 'cross processing' and possibly 'paper toner', but have a play anyway.

Remember though I'll be pissed off if I start seeing boring photos ridiculously over post processed using this software.

Im selling my AF NIKKOR 18-55 1:3.5-5.6G; DX SWM VR ED IF Infinity - 1.1m/3.61ft ᴓ With lens hood; TITANIUM Wide angle Attachment., Also has a detachable macro Att.

I want to get a really nice lens and i dont know where to start. I take a variety of pictures so it would have to zoom pretty well but still come back to like 18 or 22mm. Will i need to get a decent short range lens and then buy a teleconverter lens for the zoom?

I saw these at a show and i think these are the type im looking for, The female was up really close and then with the same lens when she was behind all of the crowd it seemed as if she was getting good shots of the performer. * Sadly photobucket is unavailable so i will upload the pics when i can.

The 18-55 is a damn good lens, don't know why your selling. But if extra length is all you need. Look at the 18-105, 18-135, or 18-200's.

    I'm thinking of buying the 85mm 1.8.

    I have a 50mm 1.8, 35mm 1.8, and a 70-300mm 4-5.
The 70-300 is nowhere near fast enough for my taste. I'm getting a credit card here in a couple weeks to build credit, so I actually need to splurge on some things.

Should I get the 85 or should I opt for something else? I could use the range for portraits.

    Sell 70-300 and get 85 1.8. Or save for the 80-200 2.8...

    you should buy a wide.

Yeah I want a wide but it's one of those things that I can't really imagine using allllll that much. For arch, cars, landscape and sine interesting portrait angles it'd be useful, but I don't like arch or landscape at all.
