rewt... est said what i was just thinking so look at his post.... who cares if u have walmart cans???? does that make u hardcore like trigz or somethin lol... the A was off, i gave u props on staying active as usual, but u come back at me (and anyone else that tries to show u what good and whats a little off) like a dick, as usual... and if i were being a perfectionist id also tell u about the bottom of the B not flowing and the drop shadow being off in a few spots, but ur so all about ur own shit u probably wouldnt even look at it again to see where u can improve....... so i guess i just wont give u ANY crits from now on good or bad... peace

and vise, i dont think anyone would look at that and see 'vise'... the bunny thing is just weird lookin, stick to easier more flowing throws

uuuhh..,how about roundin up your s and a , to match the rest or other way around, id use chrome for fill , red as second... the background could also be better shaped, bubbles splashes n what not but urs more like a wet turd on a wall. overall work on your letters but i bet you already know...those faces really suck ass.

in my opinion, blacktodafuture, it would be better if u do something about the S at the beginning it looks like a J
and straight out the top of the F so that it matches the rest of the letters. either that or make it bigger than the rest of the letters and fill it with a different color, try red in that last piece, i reckon it'd look cool

yeah, pretty much what you said. Plus it's kind of high, I don't like how the top part seems to be crushing the bottom.

fresh! only thing i dont like are the arrows, the rhyme is fire , to be a perfectionist the round top of the M should be more sharp edged like the rest same for the E outflow..oh and the Y double overlay..the beat is great too, id be cool if you had that same bubble stuff on the B instead of arrow. Its really great as a whole.

I'd cut back on some of them lines cause they're shaky as fuck. You're a skilled writer, paint like it. You spend a lot of time on fills and do the same two letter combo you've been doing for a couple years...
And as far as the ego shit were sayin', go fuck yourself.
Mr. I flick pics and call it Boston when it's countryside 40 minutes away from the Metro area....
    LOL!
Tons of toys and writers knock WalMart cans because of the quality of paint. I was just making it aware to some of the negative nannies out there that you can do good work with cheap paint.
That 'A' is pretty much perfect. I don't care what you say. The lines all around it are clean and crisp as fuck for dollar cans. The bars are proportionate. The only problem is the angle of the cut off of the bar at the bottom. The lean is correct, go draw it for yourself. You'll see. As far as the B, I don't really give a fuck cause it was a 10 minute freestyle. I've never drawn these letters before. Had some extra paint and figured I'd just wing it.
That's pretty fuckin' good for just wingin' it.
Now get off my dick and go out and paint something and lets see your work...

And as far as the crits I got, all I got was 'That left bar ain't workin' on the A'
How isn't it working? Why don't you give me some information on how it's not working so I can fix it?
I can't fix it or address the problem if you make a 'broad' statement like that.
    You fuckin' major toy.

Yeah I know what you mean, I noticed the M.
I went with the arrows cos when your wearing them they both point behind you and they contoured with the shape of the heel part of the shoe. I suppose you cant tell cos Ive drawn over it tho lol.

Any more crits? (instead of beefing guys)

And if anyone wants to buy any PM me.

Ron, those shoes look very nice. I like the letters, they all carry the same style and flow with a little Euro flair.
I'm more concerned with your techniques. What do you use for markers? What kind of shoes are those?
You've got nice bright color. Are those shoes leather?
I've done a pair of All Stars and I'm currently in the process of making another pair. The canvas is nice for paint markers but it's kind of gritty and grainy so it's slow. It really sucks the paint up.
The first pair is nothing special.
The second pair are about 1/3 done. Still gotta' add highlights and make cuts and finish the shadow. Might add a little soft blue inside the letters.

You know how long it took me to work out how to paint on shoes?
    Fucking ages!!
No-one wants to tell anyone shit or help a brother out.

I on the other hand am nice.

On canvas shoes i just use fabric pens and paints (it is material after all). You can fix it with a hairdrier on hot.
On leather shoes I use leather paints (im not being funny). You can buy them on the t'interweb.
On synthetic trainers I use whatever I can. Its just trial and error. Then seal them with decorators PVA from B&Q. Seems to work quite well.

They are nice btw, especially the first pair. They look good on. Simple but effective.
"Keep it simple toys" is fair crit. I spend far too long worrying about shit I dont need to.

    Word. Thanks for the tips.
When you use the fabric pens and paints on canvas, are the shoes able to be worn in the elements? If they got a little wet, it'd hold up?
I don't wear mine but Im more curious about the other pair. Im planning another shoe after this one but I want the girls to be able to wear them regularly. I suppose this is what the PVA is for.
Leather paint? Gotta' check that out. Lol.

Thanks for the tips dude. Greatly appreciated.
The black pair was easy cause they're a mans shoe. Just didn't have good pen control. The woman's shoe, oh jeez, tiny tiny tiny.

Thats what I mean about using the hairdrier. Yes, it fixes it so the colours dont run. All my stuff is wearable. Take a look at my blog www.cubanpetes.blogspot.com for some other shit Ive done.

I did some kids shoes once, size UK 4. Now those are tiny lol. Pain in the ass. They are on the blog actually. Got music notes (instead of bubbles) round the name April. The P looked shit cos I didnt think about the space properly.

Those heels are dope. Especially the 'Annie' ones. Big props.
Big market for chicks and they look sexy as fuck with graffiti art inspired heels.
    Keep up the good work.
I've never drawn on heels but I've painted them. I'd try that next but there might be a murder if I fuck up...

Ive been trying to sell stuff on ebay but i never seem to have any luck. Get my money back and thats about it.
I thought it was the graf but thats two people whove said those ones are fresh.
Problem is the people who like them cant afford to pay much I think.
Same reason I started doing them for myself in the first place I suppose lol.
I want to quit the day job and do it full time. Which is why Im trying to improve my graf with hints and tips here.

Try an open market on a weekend. If they have that kind of thing where you're at. Some young lady might walk by and not be able to resist buying a pair on impulse.

Demographics and neighboring cities can play a very big part in trying to push that kind of gear. You gotta' be close to that artsy, new wave, not afraid to break new ground, kinda' crowd. I've noticed different cities seem to have a different feel. Some can be uptight and blah with suits and ties and other cities are very relaxed and artsy.
Good lucky, homey. You'll get there.
