your a fucking idiot, you say your educated about the drugs you put in your body? you realize the pills you ingest are cut to shit. the cheapest and easiest way to cut e is with meth and speed. i dont care what your 'dealers' tell you, "oh its not cut" their lying. you have absolutly no clue whats in those pills unless A) you pressed them yourself. This is indeed true...people do some fucked up shit to ecto, but thats why you're never the guinea pig. I don't take a drug unless I got feedback from people I know personally who used it. I never try things first haha. And yeahhhhhh ecto is cut with stuff. Some are dopey, some are uppy...every roll I ever took felt different. What do you expect? Just don't be an idiot with your drug use and take necessary precautions and you'll be fine. Stay hydrated, roll with a friend, and don't roll excessively..nowmsayn.. I think its wrong to judge any ones addiction. If you're one of those people who are all up in the "they did it to themselves yada yada ya" bit, then you're right, but who are you point the fingers. Bottom line, addiction to drugs isn't cool...it doesn't matter how they got there, or what they did, they're addicted now, and I think that even though you HATE it with all of your heart and soul, this is when a friend/family member needs you the most. Even if it is too late. A lot of addictions are very similar in characteristics...but every addiction is also very different. These are peoples lives..and every life has a different story so you can never compare without being bias. I might just be a really empathetic person, but every person still feels, man. You think pushing away your heroin addicted friend is going to make her stop shooting up? Nooo...she got even more upset that she lost her friends and went and OD'd instead because she felt like she had NOBODY. Its like walking on eggshells dealing with this stuff. I feel like addiction is a lot like demonic possession. Overpowering and forceful, and painful...only the strong survive. I know people that NEED that medication, man. They have a script. They're in so much pain that they properly use OC on the daily...and they're addicted. Its not like the abused it..but they're now addicted. Same withdrawal, same ripping pain to have the drug when they can't. My grandfather is a paraplegic and he's been on pain killers my whole life. He's paralyzed from the waste down due to a nearly ftal car accident. It breaks my heart to see him in pain and it isn't even his fault ..a lot of addicts get to scummy levels, but not all of them. You can't just classify an addict. They're not all crack heads...you think my grandfather chose that life? Its not like he started as a drug user..he was nearly killed.
I've been reading this whole thing, and I think it's funny how you guys all have different opinions. I like to think that I'm pretty smart about the drugs I do, but in the end, I'll end up doing one drug too much, for too long. Right now, I'm fighting to not buy coke, which is gonna be bullshit to do. And it is really easy, and unnotice when you step into addiction. I'll elaborate later, I got shit to do. And I gotta dooky.
Fo' Real. Nobody ever has intentions of becoming addicted.. Its not like you blow your first OC and say, MAN OH MAN, I want to depend on this EVERYDAY!!! You never realize you're reliant on anything until you can't have it. I'm addicted to nicotine, along with a lot of other people and I ALWAYS defended myself by saying "ohhh I can quit when I want..." People forget about things like caffeine addictions. Most people can't start the day without a cup of coffee... same with alcoholics, pill heads, people who smoke butts...same thing. To start their day properly, or have a successful day, there must be that substance involved somewhere. Like I said before...Everyone picks their poison. Its just weird to think about addiction now, so broadly. People can be addicted so sex...people can be addicted to WOW. Its like wtf lol....the world..fuck. Personally, I like variety. I could never take the same drug every day. I'd get bored quick...I like to try different things in moderation. Spread out over a course of time. I want to be able to appreciate each time I trip/roll. Enjoy myself once in a while..
I'm gunna' side with Loki. Nobody innitially uses a drug then instantly says they want to do it every day. Fucking retards might (I've known a couple...) but for the most part people who use drugs in moderation are often down to earth about there drug use. It's just when somebody likes a drug too much, or takes it too much, or what have you, that it becomes a problem. But hey, everything in moderation. Even moderation. With that said, I believe that not EVERYONE needs a vice to start there day. I, personally, don't need anything to get me through the day besides food and water and sleep. When I need something there I usually just fuck or smoke. But my life isn't too stressful I guess, if it was as much as any of yours I'd probably be dropping something too. I've just always been down to earth, even as a child. I've always known that what you see is NOT what you get. Not like I've never done anything, but I've never looked to drugs for the answer except when I was a fucking idiot. No offense intended towards any of you. With me personally, I have a very addictive personality, so I know if I try something and I like it, I probably won't stop.

Ok, so I'm back and ready to type! Addiction is freakin' rediculous, and such a bitch to fight. I mean, I'm an alcoholic, and was becoming a fiend for coke before I fixed myself. It's nothing that you choose to do, it just happens. Maybe because you were drunk one night, and just decided that this drug might be a good idea, or your friends talk you into it. Whatever the reason is, it really does not matter. Moderation doesn't matter either. You can moderate you use to daily still, not like that's gonna help you out much. Some people just have stronger will power than others, and those are the ones who can beat addiction. Some are just destined to become addicts, and stay that way. I don't think people that haven't been addicted should have much say in this conversation really. It's not that you don't have knowledge, but you don't have first hand, personal experience with yourself and how you'd react to that sort of pressure, of feeling physically ill if you don't get your substance of choice. My 3 cents...
I've been lucky enough to watch some of my friends fall into addictions and learn from their mistakes, rather than fall just as they did. All but a couple of them have made it out okay, but I could tell that it was a fight for them. I've always been curious about some of the drugs that they did, but never curious enough to even give my time/money to a substance that could quickly become an addictive habit. I tend to stick to extreme moderation and focus more on keeping my priorities straight as far as school/work/family/friends-life goes.
