Disclaimer: Yes I know the chars are by Vaughn Bode and yes I know I bit them but it was freehand from pics I got online so anyone who posts saying I'm biting, I've already noted that and you will just look stupid... Anywhooo, I'm posting here because the toy forum is filled with crappy crits and a lot of beef so ya. This was done for a chick I know and it was one of my first times really messing around with coloring instead of black and white so I'd love some crits if anyone's got any.

Aces outside of the actual image itself my 2 cents would be if you're doing a piece for anyone throw it down on something alittle more substantial such as illustration board. You can pick some up at any art store for about 2 bucks a piece. You'll find there's a higher chance the person you are giving it to still has it down the road rather than crumpled up between the pages of a forgotten book. As far as the image goes I'd say I don't care for when people use known character no matter what thier own ability is but overall not bad over all but try and play with the line quality some more, a little thinner here a little thicker there.
Aces, looks ok man, no such thing as biting bode-your just paying homage! I think you should compose it better, put the "mel" letters in the middle of the page. Might be a bit character heavy so leave one of them out.lay a bit more ink on areas shaded to give depth and I don't get the blue outline, it's ok around letters but don't look right around chars Imo. Looks good though,neat and tidy
