I've got my first holes at 9/16ths, I can't get the 5/8ths in for he life of me. Gonna' need some tapers. My smaller holes are 8g. I wanna stretch those to either a 4 or a 2. Takes way longer to stretch the ones higher up on the lobes than the lower ones, I've come to find.

so after yet another fourloko sesh, a friend convinced me to let him jailhouse me and my girlfriends calves with small initials. so diabetic needle and pen ink, long story short i wound up cutting it out and having an inky blotch of a scab over a scar of a K. and i stretchedup to half inch finally on both ears, but im wondering how do i go about piercing a second hole and gauging that? what would even look right next to a half inch?
Um, that sounds horrific. But in regards to your gauging question...just have it pierced, then stretch it. Your skin will stretch around whatever you do. My ears a gauged to a zero and my second holes used to have 8s but I shrunk em down again...its not a big deal.
hasemler - if you have been doing vitamin e oil rubs daily, then your lobes should be thick enough. but i dont think it would look great. if you want to stretch another hole in your ear, id shoot for cartilage, just know its never, ever going to look normal again, and its definitely going to add a whole new definition to pain. stretching lobes is a cake walk, cartilage however... cartilage aint good. took both mine to 10mm but got fuck ugly blow outs so took back down to a 8. not good at all
