Cuccui i personally like silhouettes so number 2 is the best imo, and the bridge def stands out in it. Nuit blanche is going to be nuts tonight. anyone in t.o should go. Anyone like? ..working on macro. So I was asked at work to bring in some of my photos to be put on display along with 2 other photogs (they have degrees and shit) So I'm posting the ones I picked to see what you guys think. They have all been up here before.
upstate i am glad to see those photo's...i hope the other guys are embarrassed you'll be going up against ...you can't learn talent
thanks man. they have all been on BS at one point or another. It's not really a competition or anything. we just put up a 15inch photo frame and stuff to display what you can do with pics after u take them and shit. but i know they are judging me vs them u know? they are good tho lol. one uses a 5d mark2 and the other a d700. i have my d40 haha
today i fell in love with my f1.2 50mm prime on my pentax mx....will upload some photos when they are developed tommorow....fresshhh XD
Has anyone here bought or used the D3100? I know it's an entry level, but do you think it'd be an upgrade from my D70, which is about 5 years old.
I don't know. From what I've been reading the image quality/features are pretty comparable with the D90 and it's about $200.00 cheaper. Plus it's not a complete replacement. I still like my D70, the memory card slot is just a little messed up.
D3100 is a dope camera. And smallness is better. All huge cameras do is make them more annoying to use day to day. The smaller the batter. Huge improvement in ISO over the D3000 and imagine quality is leagues ahead. You won't be disappointed in it. D7000 is leagues ahead of the D3100 too though.
Word. I mean, maybe one day I'll pick up something like a D7000. But for what I'm going to do with it, a D3100 will suffice.
this photo is stolen but i figured id post it .. imo i really like it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/50968881@N07/ a few nice photos but thats jus me. edit this guy as well. some very nice night shots.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/44423666@N08/
This has nothing to do with photography, just wanted to share why I love my home town so much. Local band/friends Sirens and Sailors. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-T8UswGTKFM
Got the film shots back today...heres a select few of the 64 i shot...i honestly love film...and would recommend it to anyone whos wanting to get into photography...it will teach you so much...theres something about using a fully manual camera, a light meter and taking photos... All shot on a pentax mx, with a smc pentax 50mm f1.2...using film which expired 2 years back...hasnt made to much of a difference to the photos/color etc though...
