So I been using those cardboard manilla folders to make stencils...

Anything stiffer yet still able to throw it in a backpack?

 

Depends on the size. The USPS sticker ones take maybe a minute or 2 depending if I color but essentially it's all sketching. I stopped doing clean looking ones because they take an hour or more. The big sketches 18"x24" sketches take around 45 minutes but like I'm watching tv or a movie I don't sit down and draw for just graffiti I actually love sketching but wheatpasting them up just takes it that much further because it's very unique and the second I put em on the street I maybe inspire some kids or make people think that hey.. Maybe graffiti isn't complete shit. That green box was just buffed and they left the wheat paste.

@heklr - try linoleum if you can get some scraps. I have a ton of plastic stencil sheets I'll give you a bunch if I see you.

yeah go to store n ask to go threw there cardboard...if u have a big recycling drop off around u thats a good place to look to most places are chill if u say ur werking on an art project...theyll let u look around...iv found sum good thin stick sheets of plastic there...ended up painting them for an art show...but they would have been perfect for stencils..souldnt bend but it looked cut able. also look up stencil board if u got the loot...free is cheaper...hail repepect

those work, they get stronger the more u use them... but personally i like these plastic folders better, first off they wont rip, and they bend a little and that makes it easier to get it flat against the wall without getting paint all over ur hands, for me at least, get the cheapest shit u can find but heres what im talkin bout
