"HAVE YOU EVER BEEN ARRESTED"
con: having to poop and nowhere to do it, paint all lover your fingers and hands, when a can explodes and your hand is colder than hell, ruining your clothes
i cant believe the op wrote "having to sneak out" as the only con... like fuckin seriously man how about jail violence with random idiots family hating that you keep doing that shit the danger of being in the streets at odd hours of the night the risk of death or jail for spots you make it seem like its fuckin candy fun and games retard.... pros: destruction makes you happy///

Pro: the memories, wow.. back when i was about 13, used to bomb EVERY bus in my area, kids from other schools knew my name but didnt know who i were, like i was a big talk for about a school year haha! i used to love it, died down, then did my first train inside at 15, got on in a union jack bandana and destroyed every space i could, dude filming me dropped a can and it rolled all the way down the train, the train was mildly busy and he had to run the whole way down the train to get it, got off at the next stop and skipped away laughing Pro: lets me release stress, anger, depression.. everything Pro: the thrill, i remember once i nearly got hit by a train dead on, the rush was amazing, at the time i was punching myself in the head after for running infront of it though.. Con: Most of my friends dont really understand why i do it, and most see all graffiti writers as low lifes..
Pro:you get eye for art and learn to appreciate all the small thinhs like tags and stickers and shit, you learn structure. Cons: getting arrested, im paranoid all thetime(more then graff) addiction to graff,i. Cant see a page of whtever without drawkng some prototype shit on it. I hate seeing graff cfeator in vids nd other syit. Sorr. For spellinh,im drunk nd ttyping on ma ipod touch
Pros: life experience, this comes through being in neighborhoods you wouldn't normally be in. seeing all kinds of shit....handling beef w/ other writer, learning the ins and out of the whole thing and applyiing some of these concepts to real life, ex: risk vs. reward. also knowing, wow, if I can hit a pretty hot billboard and do a dope piece up there, I can definately bag that chick i been eyeing, or actually do good in school. Pretty much a reminder that you really can do anything you want, you just want to paint tho. Cons: Of course, losing your freedom, loss of touch with friends who dont write. Constantly being harrased by cops, having to watch ur back. Losing interest in all other shit... pretty much alot of loss of certain aspects of life, and a whole new understandng of why they call cops pigs, I just got in from being followed for 2+ hours by a detective, obviously I didn't do shit but still pisses you off. And now im on bombing science after all this when I have work in 2 hours, graffiti is a love hate relationship.
lol at you noobs drooling on loki. pros: toys talking shit until they see your blackbook, graff girls, graff heads smoking blunts at yards, fame. cons: basically everything else
theres no real pros of actually being a writer, really..there arent, i guess if your really good you can get endorsed and make bank and shit cons- keeping one of the biggest parts of your life on the dl, its illegal, its a pain in the ass racking, for freight heads, its a bitch when you dont have anything at your siding or layup...unless your doing yards being a writer has SO many cons, i can go on forever
