I thank you guys for keeping that Hoer stuff in here, its been a help so I dont have to keep cleaning out the damn threads lol. But yo Heklr...Thats old stuff your posting up have you seen any of his new ish....... But yo WHATS THE FUCKING DEAL WITH RUSTO WITH MALE VULVAE SYSTEM NOW...can some one drop some knowledge on me so I can understand why they made the switch. And besides online is their a spot to get the adapters besides online? I usually by my stuff online but seeing that Im not making alot of extra ends with this job I need to go back to racking or something. FUCK THE SHIT ECONOMY lol
VIRUS as many of you are already aware, an increasing number of rustoleum spray paint cans have been popping up with the 'male' valve system and the advertised "comfort tip". because of my frustration with having to drive all over my city going to various stores just to find the normal cans, i figured i'd finally just give rustoleum a phone call. after talking with a customer service rep just 10 minutes ago, here is the scoop on the change for the valve system and the new tips: AT THIS TIME RUSTOLEUM IS RUNNING A MARKETING TEST BY USING THE NEW SYSTEM / "COMFORT TIPS" TO TARGET THE CONSUMER MARKET. AT THIS TIME, THE CHANGE IS ONLY TEMPORARY, AND AFTER AN UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT OF TIME, THEY WILL MOVE BACK TO USING THE NORMAL 'FEMALE' VALVE SYSTEM, THAT WE ALL LOVE AND ARE USED TO. so, what does this mean? well, it gives me a little bit of hope that many of my favorite paints are NOT permanently going to have the male valve system from now on. ...on the other hand, nobody knows how long they are trying out the market for the male system, so it's pretty much a guessing game between going out and buying what you can of your favorite rusto colors with the normal system and stock pile until the change is over.... OR hope that the change is very very short and you'll just have to settle for using the new system for awhile. (and yes.. we know that you can use caps off of household items on the male systems, but lets be honest, if you've already got a bulk of great tips, you want to use THEM instead of tracking down 30 cans of axe deoderant). gotten off 12 oz MY personal thoughts on this situation is there doing this as part of an anti graffiti campaign....they figure shitty valve systems will force writers to use the shitty stock caps which will piss them off which will make them stop gettin rustoleum or writing in general.....while this is proly not the main intent of changing the valve system it definitly could have been taken into consideration and as for sec adaptor caps ur best shot at finding them would be ur local graff shop. Im sure there are also tuturials on how u can make em online as well
since there is quite a big rusto graff scene fanbase whatever i cant imagine that its directed against graff...its like pissing in your own bed...
that is tru but look at krylon for example....i was told back in the day they used to have decent paint but then they started watering there shit down and changing the cap systems....not to mention they are anti-graffiti and whatnot
Time to buy OSH cans until then. I can't find a good tutorial online about making the SEKT adapter, if anyone has one, post it pl0x.
i personally wouldn't think that rustoleum would care exactly WHAT their paints are being used for. they are a paint company, primarily a SPRAY paint company, which is well known as the principal medium for graffiti. a customer is a customer. it's not the company's responsibility of what the consumer does with their product. there might be some strange way that the new valve system is conserving paint or something oddly scientific. just my thoughts on the situation.
