what you can assume is that you are not cool, and no one will click your links unless you post them at LEAST three times... Glass and a bunch of new toys tomorrow, pretty stoked.
just cause people dont comment your shit doesnt mean it doesnt get looked at. besides, those shots have no interesting content..
24-70 2.8. Can't wait because ever since I went full frame I haven't been able shoot wide. Now I can ditch my old shitty kit lens and keep my 50 on my slower body, which works out perfectly because of the crop factor. And Upstate, honestly you probably don't want critique from most people on here. How many other people do you think are shooting or have shot product? Not too many, at least seriously. The lighting in the controller shot is very nice, except for the chrome. I noticed you shot both those at f4.5, the first shot you might be able to get away with that but the you don't have enough dof for the watch shot, your bottom left corner is super soft. I also think the placement of the lid is a bit awkward. As far as studio stuff goes, lighting reflective surfaces is a bitch and requires a lot of thought and some advanced techniques. Keep at it
Said, i wasn't asking if the picture had interesting content, i just thought that this was a place to share any and all photography and discuss/critique others work and provide constructive criticism. Ares, thanks man. I know product stuff isn't the norm but due to being snowed in, that's all i really have to do. Thanks for the comments though. Setting up an urban snoeboarding shoot soon. Anyone have any suggestions on how to light it with on light only?
yeah im really in no position to comment on a product photography. this is all from the last month or so [Broken External Image]:http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/378/2343z.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/8453/2345m.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/5444/2346.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/7016/23412g.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/782/23411.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/6486/2348vm.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/5441/23417p.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/3707/23418.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/3557/2347t.jpg the jupiter 8 is so soft wide open. first and last are examples of it. but for less than 50$ its not bad
Mine's not that soft, might be something wrong with yours. I'll give you mine once my other lenses arrive if you want. Is that a original black P? if so it's $$$$

I already do. Shitty weather but I got a couple shots out last night and I was pretty pleased. The only problem now is that with my new grip and lens the camera is too heavy for my tripod. I dig that last one lakim, think it would look better square crop without all that black on the bottom.
