no im sure it was the paint and not me crit-ing myself to hard cause they were just dollar cans. im to cheap to buy rustos and to much of a pussy to rack so ill just stay away from light on dark.

yeah seems there's some software prob with that. none of our sigs are showing when we use the quick reply box... it only shows when you click on the "reply to thread" link that takes you to the advanced editor I'll check with the admin regarding that brb :>

Weedeater, why specifically flat and not gloss? I already only buy flats, but I'm just wondering your view.
in my experience its alot runnier than flat, i even use the "turn can upside down and release some pressure" trick, but can get away with not doing it with flat without having to worry about drips and runs. it also seems like it takes longer to dry, i can do a fill with dollar can gloss and when i go back to do the outline the shit will run and mix with my fill, but with flat ive never had a problem, not saying you can run your hand over it without it being wet, but it just sticks to the surface better and seems to cure faster. theres also a big difference with opacity. basically, dollar can gloss white looks like krispy kreme glaze and dollar can flat white looks dusty, which i prefer, dusty fills are dope.
hmm, how to say this, ... its like walking into a gas station at around 1 am, wearing a ski mask and buying a smokes. but if you have a team wearing a back pack is a good decoy method. as for the paint shit, gloss is just added to flat paint, when you get gloss if its not shaken right or its just cheap most times you get more clear gloss out and then others you get more paint out. its inconsistant. there for looks watery/splochy. flat is just piant, so it sprays a more consistant way hence works better.

im starting to love lookin at this thread. @ntn yeah, the first time on the street with anything is your WORST time always. that goes with anyone. you need to find a chill spot hommie. a practice wall. almost positive you will change your name at least 2 more times due to when you get better because your embarrised of the previous name. that is only if you find a chill spot/plywood board, or something to practice on to get the basics down. so you have some way to gauge what its going to look like when your done on the street. dont go out and plaster what your gunna do now because you will regret it later. trust me. 1.practice paper 2.practice wall 3.practice street 4.gettin up full time. btw this is just advice, i am by no means the great graffiti rule giver. im a mod on a graffiti forum. take it or leave it. -fube
