Nuem- I'm really loving that simple. Glums- I'm not a fan of the bubblely letters but I'm sure that if you keep practicing you will get me to like it. Dave the pirate- I'm feeling the first one, the second one though, has little to be desired. I haven't been on here in a while. Crits would be greatly appriciated.
It would be sick if the t was the same size as the other letters and also the t and the h are bent and the others arnt you feel me? other than tht its fresh
^meh not too shabby, only thing i can really pick at right now is that the bottom of your S has negative space but the top doesnt.... not really a big deal in this type of sketch tho so whatevs .......havent post a pick in a while, drunk outlining is the worst and i dont recomend it.....L and O suck cock, hopefully this will look better after i put color steaz on it, exchage with slotr View attachment 606583
whats negative space ? im feeling that S O really does need work and the S os higher then th rest of the letters
Negative space is the space that isnt tooken up by your actual letters. like spaces in between your letters, or the inside parts/holes of letters like on A's and R's and O's and D's and others, make sense? So on your S the bottom part has negative space in the middle, but the top doesnt i fucked up the outline on the steazy L and O I sketched, and because of it that L and that O are what came out of it. I aint place my letter on a line, does it really make a difference if theyre all in equal height? ......maybe if its a straight letter... idk, part of developing style means breaking away from fitting your letters in a box and making them all the same size...
@ribcage im with you on that L and O being off. mainly the verticle bar on the L. whats that piece below it? looks ill could have easily fixed it to not look like MUSC.. i was lazy.

Started wanting to draw graffiti about 2 years ago. Started trying stuff out but got bored then stopped. Now I wanna learn again, and here's one of the first pieces I did. EnV-start doing simples,copy the letters from your keyboard,you know,block letters,I like the vader char though ^^ Dave the pirate-dope letters but a pretty bad background ribcage-that's a dope S but the rest of the letters need some work and on the other sketch the C doesn't flow so well with the rest of the letters striggy-go simpler and lose the arrows dankbudz-try not overlapping the letters,the U is squished between M and S a few sketches,I'm having a lot of trouble making my letters flow hope I can get some crits on these giving crits4crits of course
