ATMA dope as always, love how closely you stick to your style. Also did this, i know arrows, needs moar arrows, make the jokes, i was blitzed and drew some mothafuggin arrows. And it is wayy out of my league but why not give it a try every once in a while. Feel free to destroy it but don't waste your breath by saying "go simpler" because this was just for the fuck of it
third time posting this, somebody wanna gimme some crits on it now? @ derrez, go back to basics. bite your keyboard and do straights for a while. you're trying to jump too far into graff doing pieces like that and you're missing steps such as basic letter structure, how to do 3d etc. i know what your pieces say and can still just barely make out the letters. look up vanishing points and perspective and all that shit before you do 3d again. the ideas for yoru characters aren't bad at all but they need to be finessed and made cleaner.
@Aeso I'm digging it but might be too cluttered, i think that'd be fixed if you added some 3d or a drop shadow. Good stuff though @Derezz Go simpler, make sure the bottom of your 3d is the same line as the edge of the bar it comes off of (if you understand that) and try to make your outline lines less shakey. Got new markers so had to fill this one, came out not as clean as i wanted. And the right R bar looks a little off to me.
because out of all the people in the world theres no duplicates I keep forgetting . Calgary does suck I agree not sure why you bothered to state that haha
never said no duplicates. the problem is, is how well known evol tko is. and because as a citizen of edmonton, i am obligated to state how much clagary sucks
okay fair enough I just looked into it and you are right he is pretty famouse so a change might be a good call and haha thats okay then
Yo CRED, you post sooo much bro. I know you're looking to improve and progress with your style and structure and all of that stuff, which is great, but constantly posting almost the same thing with minor tweaks here and there because of one small crit, won't do you much. I'm not dissing you or anything, just so you know. Try this: Keep on writing and sketching at the amount you are keeping up with now, but don't post and ask for crits nearly as much. Take a break from what you're doing right now and take some time to develop on your own without the help or opinions of others (even though they may be a lot more skilled and developed). Search Flickr and BS and Google, get ideas, look for examples, take in different inspirations. Then, after a while (whether it be a couple weeks or a couple months), come back and present you. You will find that you came a long way and made a lot more progress than you were making during this time. Again, this is not meant to be disrespectful in anyway.
