Its easy, theres no rules to this painting shit but there are some guidelines that will make your entry into the scene abit smoother. Dont paint freights untill you learn all the aspects about them, numbers, safety, types etc even when you think your ready to write on them your probably not. Go to page 1 on here and look and study each photo, styles, crews, flows. It will help you out in the long run. History is a huge part in graffiti and while the internet isent the best place to learn, going through every page of this thread will fill your brain with who used to write, the beefs, the walls of fame. Go out and explore, DONT PAINT THEM! Just study everything. this is the best part. Pay attention to the names and how old each painting is. The 905 has a nice luxury of being a time capsule into the orgins of our scene. Curiousity will always be rewarded with hidden gems. Go to the toy section of this forum and enter battles, sketch, learn bars the basics and ask for crits. Most importantly you suck until further notice. This graff shit aint easy, it takes alot of work and dedication, sketch untill you start finding sketches that turn you on but you cant remember when you drew it. thats when you probably know your ready to hit the streets. The advantage you have is the internet and the information it can give you so sit down sketch and dedicate. For example you make your self look dumb when you call us "kids". When in fact where probably older then you. Your probably just some kid who saw mark echo getting up and decided id be fun to try painting out. Your not the first toy to come here thinking he's the shit and probabbly not the last. If you dont know who mark echo is then it proves how much you know about graffiti.
