Veeks are those supposed to say something? Go copy the letters off your keyboard write your name a million times with them then start to play with your letters, also avoid buying good markers to start out because they won't make a difference until you get to more advanced stuff.

can i plz get some crits on these 2, maybe a color scheme/pattern on the second one. the first one i rushed abit and fuked up with the "curl" things especialy on the D, and i know the coloring is terrible, tasty gave me advice that when im coloring to go with the flow of the letter but i cant help to stop and take my pen off the paper and reangle then start coloring agian...any tips on that?

Veeks I think ur the only one that likes your "style" if u can even call it a style, looks more like a preschooler playing with markers, semper knows more then u about this stuff so I'd listen. Or stay close minded and keep ur drawing to ur self rather then posting them on here, this site is bout getting and taking crits so we can all improve but u already think ur too good to be getting crits

Veeks- if your gunna get into Graffiti you have to able to take crits and be patient enough to go simple and progress properly. You a can keep posting what you doing but ill only tell you to go simple so many times before I give up. I had to be told 4 times before I went simple so there is hope yet.

hey that meds is looking good, the E D is a lil cramped and i would of swung the right leg of the M the other way. keep at it. work on those hands though, should be nice and simple till you get a grasp of what you should and shouldn't be doing. shadow looks aight to me, I've never done that shit though

 

When its just a sketch like that fuck coloring nicely that shits a waste of time. If you're drawing in a book or something nice take your time and do what tasty said tho. Doing without lifting the pen just takes practice, you can also just go left to right as far as possible on both ends of the stroke.

That S in the meds is dope, use it with a taller and less wide M when you do smoer. Cause your Ms are a little too big, I do the same shit with my W...

@Gowje- only thing about that S is if i do a drop shadow or 3d what shuld i do with the middle swirl part of the S? just leave it blank or try to get the drop shadow/3d in there? and i see wat you meen bout my M being to big, with the 2 drawings i just did i think the M is too big too. thank for the tips man

i think the second M is kinda fuked, i had to makethe O's that small to make the word fit on the paper. tryed somtiing new with the S's but deff gonna mess around with the S above and prob that E too in some smoers, crits would be nice before i fineline the shit

Veek thats still not simple enough dude, i know it gets frusterating but honestly we gotta all get down basic letter structure before u can start fuking aroundwith the other shit, just be patient. draw legit straight letters and have every thing even and properly proportioned then add little bends here and there then keep evolving, but you gotta get the basics down first dude. here is a pic to show how simple i meen, it was done quikly in pen so draw out some similar SIMPLE stuff and make it look betterthen the shit i have here, hope you take my advice, good luck
