yea i know, me megr and arse decided to paint when i had no paint, so arse tossed me a couple cans, i just got some cans so i plan on doing something crazy or at least try
i really do not understand how you do such sick backgrounds all the colors and everything, i dont think i could draw half of that shit without the colors not to mention make it look that on point not really a fan of your graff but the characters and effects you bring to the table are ill no doubt
How do you not know of Satire Clown? I do not think that Gane said that claiming that you are copying from Satire I seen his comment as a compliment that you are going in the right direction. Satire has a simple effective style that is pretty consistent. If you consistently develop from the point you are at now there is a lot of potential. I honestly have to say that you must be a very slow learner because of my knowledge you have been writing for at least 6 years. I started in 2008 eight and by 2009 my letters looked somewhat like yours in that that last post. "This is not to offend" you it is just the factual concept of your progression rate that I am noticing. All of that aside I think you are on the right track now. What I like about this piece is you were able to keep the letters in a pretty consistent style and scale. You still have a few wack extensions that you forcefully used to kill negative space "Such as the top of the A" but you are becoming better at allowing the letters to flow together. Don't force flow let the letters build off of each other to create a solid structure. You could have left out the bottom of the "B" and you over did it on the Letter splits. thanks mone, for the crits and the sketch. but im in a foul mood right now and i saw what you did there. so im gonna ask you directly, why are you posting that flick again? and more importantly what thefuck is it? the fill of an unfininshed piece? and since you were wondering about my sliw progress, i'll tell oyu about it. i actually started on paper since 2003 and up until 2008 all i was doing was wrong. i had fucked around with graff on a non serious basis for 5 years until i painted for the first time in 2008. keep in mind that i live in a shithole and for 5 years i was building my graff without any inspiration, help, guidance or knowledge. i had no graff friends to gimme pointers and i didnt know enough about it to go online and look for help. and then a year or two after i actually started painting, i came here and was told that all i was doing was wrong and that my letters were useless and that my approach was shit. so i started all over again from scratch, wasnt discouraged. so to me, i really only started last year. its not that im slow as you see. its that i had to start over. also im much more of a bomber than a piecer, thats not an excuse, but you and i are different when it comes to that so you cant compare us to each other. sorry for the long post, just wanted to clarify
That pic I posted is of a gallery I am working on. I am attempting to abstract letter forms into a composition arranged by impulse and less intellect. Often I try and work out of my comfort zone when I work. I try to retain from doing shit that I already know how to do in order to learn and continue to progress but that is just my mind state. Now that I look at the pic it kind of looks like it says S3aM Like I said you are on the right foot now if you are trying to make progress in piecing. My advice to you is to keep your mind open and take the advice of people that know what they are talking about.
