^ because the use of another person's character as the main body of your work with a weak handstyle underneath it isn't something that most people respect. but if you're trying to use it satirically to draw focus on the problems of mental retardation in america's youth, then BRAVO. also, nobody ever looks in this thread.
None the less Arose definitely speaks the truth if anything you need to get your own shit get your own Ideas nothing like looking at some artists for inspiration everyone get's inspired by artists that happens all the time but NEVER BITE if you like the Pokemon style then make that your own a character in that "style" for example: POSE one of the best artist's in the world some of his characters look "old school" with white gloves and Pacman eyes, Did he come up with the gloves or the pacman eyes no but he used them to his advantage made it his own, Another example would be AROSE He's not the only one who has put faces in his letters iv'e seen that before by numerous well renounced urban artists but that's just a "style" just like when people use arrows in letters and cast shadows and 3-d affects. there's a fine line between "Making something in that style , and copying that style."
