Biff- those markers blow and your an idiot if you ordered one online, their water based and wash right off.

Walleeto - Dont mix Alcohol with latex paint. ever.

Neither of you have any idea what your doing.

Molotow makes sick markers but if you dont write much in the real world theres no point for the larger pump ones, and their not easy to refill because of their paint used.

UGH i forgot the reason i even came to this thread. Have any non noobs used one of these:

    Welders use them

You're an idiot. You didn't even read my post.

First of all, there are 6 of them for 14$ shipped. Which is a GREAT deal, for an EMPTY 15mm marker. Most 15mm markers even empty will run you at least 5$ and if you order from this site you can't get one shipped to the USA for under 10$ total.

Secondly, I refill them with IRONLAK marker paint. Which BTW, is also water based. Thats right - paint is NOT supposed to be hard to buff! It says so right here in one of the forum threads.

As for paint that IS hard to buff, I have some grog shit which is alcohol based. 250ml of good marker paint like grog will run you about 10$, thats about 25$ for 6x 15mm markers, filled all the way with really high quality shit. When you buy markers from this shop they don't even fill them up to the valve. And it would cost you about 60$ - for the same result.

Seriously- you don't seem to understand that a good marker has value if its refillable. Because you can put whatever the fuck you want in it. Really dude, have you ever refilled anything?

If you need several markers, or if you were going to spend upwards of 20$ on markers anyway, its obviously a better choice to get this pack of 6 markers and a few bottles of paint.

You can refill em if you really want to, pull the nib out and depress the pump valve with a straw or such and fill with a small funnel, or i believe they twist off reverse threading, havent used deco brand in awhile but i remember them being a bitch to get apart.

The only markers you'll ever need:

-some mop kind of thing..who cares which kind, they all leak all over your hand anyways, i like the ones with a harder barrel so all of your tags aren't sloppy as shit with drips. buy garvey and marsh, work off of the garvey, and add marsh until your happy with the opacity. keep a tint of the garvey color. you're using the garvey for staining and the marsh for opacity.

-pilot wide & broad..there's a reason these have been around for so long. they're reliable, and they should be the primary choice for a chisel nib marker. they're also really easy to keep clean. DONT soften the nib, unless your tag calls for in-consistent lines. which it doesn't. all tags look better with sharp lines. there's nothing like a fresh ass pilot nib.

-meanstreak..get a color thats good on all surface colors. (yellow/blue/red) I promise you that these will be the first marker you grab when you go out after you use them a bit. i swear by white meanstreaks and you can find them at a lot of stores. ..which is great for obvious reasons.

-scribe..do your homework & dont fuck with etch

-presto correction..this pretty much has your back on anything the meanstreak doesnt..and the thin lines look great if you have the right handstyle

you literally need nothing else. paint markers are fucking stupid

i heard if you add nail pollish remover to yur ink it will make it stain harder. but my ink i first made is simple!

    -take a part a highliter
-take the ink thing out of the back
    - cut the ink thing open but BE CAREFUL IT SPRAYS SO DO IT OVER A GARBAGE CAN!
-get the ink into your marker
-add rubbing alcohol and/or nailpolish remover
    - last step, this is curcial...........go tag shit up!!!!

i like the krink k71 bleed thrus but they have quite the stench but i dont really care although it says some chemical in the marker is found to be cancerous in the state of california basically but i got a few tags with it its decent, i also used some sharpie oil based paint markers, i know what your thinkin, sharpies? really? what a toy! BUT HONESTLY THEY LAST ON SURFACES, they take weather pretty good, theyre good for stickers too.
    stay up.

This a tutorial on a modification I know. This works on pretty much any mop. The ones I've got is a molotow dripstick 10 & 25 mm.
    1. Get a new clean replacement nib
    2. Get something sharp (like a scissor or something)
    3. Pull out the flow regulator inside it (a spring looking thing)
    4. Enjoy drippy xrta drippy tags.
Here is a picture of the flow regulator and the ink you should use!

    Thats to much

    for me.

EDIT: I got a WD40 "No mess pen" and a OXY Out Stain remover pen for free at work from a trucking company rep. The WD40 one is basicly a pump valve marker and the oxy is like a 1/4 inch round nib. Already refilled the WD40 one, pretty legit.
