Blest I'd say drop the extensions and swirls so that we can see your letters and then go form there. ^he writes Naked but I'm sure he won't mind. You have the general idea but your bar widths are not great at all, try and make all your bars uniform width for now ;the same with the actual letters because that m is really fat compared the other letters and it throws the balance off. Other than that it's really just practicing a lot Not blackbook but I thought it looked cool. It's the barebones of a digi I'm working on, shows just how many lines it takes to sketch an outline.
thats gonna help alotta cats i think. i think i just have ocd when it comes to penciling it in. i cant stand more than one simple line when i sketch.
Exactly. All these methods people use make me freak out -,- I immediatly do the letter. I dont do the A like 3 different bars which form an A. I immediatly draw a fucking A
if i do something "special" i may use a rough rough sketch like that but i just usually dont almost never. fuck it
Just an iPad with sketchbook pro and stylus. I'm looking at upgrading to a Wacom cintiq 24hd for top work though.
I think rough sketching a piece is a good idea. It allows for more flexibility with your lines and gets those creative juices flowing.
yeah i DO do it sorta like that with actual cans. actually. i been thinking about getting a pad for some time now i just havent made the jump yet.
I think i would rather invest in a computer program with a draw pad. Kinda like an illustration program or something
i do multiple lines to, because if you make one line and i looks sloppy or just not right then you leave it there and draw another so you can you you first line as a guide for those litte tweaks, because sometime that little curve or that straighter line can make all the diffrence in a drawing..
Thanks I was trying to something different with the prisms colours I have I need a hell of a lot of practice do you see anything else I should be doing
