Yea I'll graff alone.. Usually just throwies tho and of course tags obviously.. I don't piece alone though.. Even if it's a chill spot it's more fun with a couple friends. Wether they write or not.

 

And even when im with someone I don't let my self get too comfortable.. Don't rely on people an treat it like your still writing alone.. Don't wanna get caught up cuz your buddy was slippin playin with his home or some shit when he's suppose to be keeping a look out ya know

When i had a bad Day for Example, i dont go with Friends because i cant concentrate right then.

 

I've only gone out with others maybe once or twice. I usually just go at it alone, I cover more ground that way.

 

I usually go alone, the adrenaline rush just help me keep going.(Also if your partner gets caught they might just spill)

 

Said before me, it's the adrenaline during the day. I don't usually do it during the day, but if I do, I chill in a spot for a minute, and watch the spot til I know it's clear. But it's always good to have two or one buddies with you to spot and hit up with each other. Nevertheless it's cool going solo, but really you have more courage with someone with you.

 

I usually go with someone else, but sometimes i go alone, in my opinion go with other people is less scary then going alone.

Here's a small story of bombing with a partner...
We were bombing this open neighborhood wooden fence (meaning it wasn't in a secluded place) and after I finished my friend started to do his tag, right when he started, one of the neighbors saw and yelled out to us "Hey, what the f***!?" and I just told my friend to dip, after we ran down the road, we looked back and saw that vigilante in a white van gassing like no tomorrow. We kept dipping (but who could outrun an automobile) so he sped past me, stopped, and proceeded to run after ME on foot, my friend was still behind me, so I decided to run back up, while we ran I spotted a bush with a truck parked near it and I frantically told my friend to hide, we just jumped into the bush and waited. A few minutes passed and tension was raising, we then heard two cars roaring by, the first was a gold SUV and the second was the white van, we heard them cussing at us, but they just drove away. My friend told me it was all clear and we ran back down the street and just dipped to my friend's house.

 

None of my girl friends are into graff so I go it alone always. The guys I date always think I am crazy and tell me to leave it alone but they just don't understand, I don't even ask them to come along anymore. So I always work in the day light. I tried going out at night once or twice, so I could hit more high traffic areas but I was to paranoid. Being a female and alone at night in the city is not a good combo. I've been thinking about doing bridges at night because they are highly visible without so much worry of being assaulted.

Here are some alone experiences cuz i my graff buddies dont wanna bomb.
So I slapped a sticker on a long road. I checked and there was an office building so they couldnt see me. It was kinda hard cuz it was a long spot and when I could hear a car it would already be on my road. So I slapped a sticker and then walked away... Then a police car came, and I didnt got scared but it was a kinda interesting feeling like I got caught. But I didnt, it passed, twice luck, because ppl who isnt over 18 arent allowed to be at streets after 8...
So then I went for a run, and I saw a great spot, got my phone and I checked my facebook, and looked at buldings... it was 23:30 and there were no lights... So I was facebooking and stuff, and then saw a random old guy looking out from the window out of nowhere.. There are no safe spots nowhere!
Another time, I was tagging a bench on a perfect spot. It was covered with bushes, and nobody could see what you done, and at last there was high traffic, people often went there with dogs or chicks to drink. So I sat down, looked around, clear, safe. Wanted to start but then a light flashed, it was from a building a bit far from the bench, they turned on a light, I dont know for which reason. Then I started tagging that damn bench and I heard a whistle it was like police coming!! So I walked away and it was just a guy with a chick.
And in hungary you can always hear sirens from far away, they drive me fucking crazy tho!

Reasons for going alone:
-You are more alert, the adrenaline makes you fast
-One guy is less suspicious than 2 guy
-You are less visible
-If you dont bring anybody, there is nobody to spill your secrets

Reasons against going alone:
-You have to plan everything
-There is nobody to tell you when cops are coming
-If somebody wants to beat you for tagging its harder to fight than with a buddy
-It is more fun with a friend

anyways, back to the subject... i like to bomb alone and with a friend too... with a friend you aint that paranoid and you know you are kinda safe if something happens, like gangs coming up, or something like that.... but yeah, alone or with someone else its still bombing and thats whats important!

 

is it harder to graffiti alone?

Honestly its good to have a spotter and eveythin but I graffiti all the time alone. U just got to watch your back, and realize wint it be worth the stress if I get cool stuff on a wall? But u have to realize the risk too! But honestly if u go alone then nobdy is trailing behind u. U only have to worry about you. Just be ready to run if the cops come.

It depends on time/place. If you're doing billboards, I personally like to be alone...same if you go day bombing. But it depends on your situation. If you have a crew, having them paint with you is awesome, but it generally doesnt really matter

 

Depends on what I'm up to. I almost always peice with others but bombing is random. Bombing alone is nice because you aren't waiting for anyone. You can move more fluidly though a cityscape; its much more of a hit and move thing instead of tag, trade spots, look out, move on, and tag again.

I agree with the adrenalin comments. I feel more on point when I'm solo as far as knowing my surroundings. It can feel heavy because all the responsibility is on yourself.

Chill spots are great with a crew, daytime shit is better alone, night bombing I would say small group 2-4

hey okay i have a question, not specifically about going alone or not but i didnt know where else to go. Okay so i live in a relatively nice suburban area, i love graffiti and i have been in the game for a while. I go bombing so far in like small non-descript places to get my can control better and to just practice with a can, and have people recognize my stuff. So nobody else really writes where im from except me and this one kid (and everybody knows it just us 2) so i was wondering, should i hit this spot its really really out in the open and there is a major road right on it. It is the back of a large store like clothing store, it is a fairly run down wall and i was wondering, is it a good idea to hit this huge spot that will get tons of notoriety and shit from literally everyone, but most all of the kids in my school will know its me... Let me know what u think. Thanks a ton
