What's wrong with my "S"s?
@Devek that drop shadow looks good

 

they don't really look like S's pull the bottom line in more I think.

 

The S you did before looked a lot like a J . What I would do is work on one of your letters, for a while, then when your satisfied, move to the next one, get everything down as perfect as possible. I'm still doing hat myself, cuz my throws used to be reaaaal shitty, now they're only kinda shitty... I think

 

trying new shit is the fun part. im gonna try some one liner throwups pretty soon and see whaere that goes.

 

Yeah I tried them a while back and liked me then, but now I look at em and I'm like wtf was I thinking that's garbage lol

 

Working on my shadow

 

alright, but i personally think shadows look best when they are down to either left or right, but that just my opinion, and as for letter structure try and move swifter through the letter, i aint the best but when i draw or outline i try to make one crisp smooth line for each curve, not stopping and starting.

 

Yeah I know my outline was shitty I've been trying to make my shadow better

@flocka the highlights are opposite the shadows always, so for those highlights to work the shadow should be below the letters

 

I never even thought of that, I didn't know the shadows and highlights coincide like that lol my bad

 

Thought I did the highlights right, but they're still wrong. Besides that, crits are appreciated

@devek shits clea yo. You just need to work on your highlights a bit

 

Thanks guys, the E's I do now are better than the ones before I think, and yeah the highlights are iffy .

 

They're not terrible, but you could do better
