Im looking to get some etching fluid. Any recommendations as for effectiveness? Or can I expect everything to be pretty similar?

the percent of the acid is all that really matters i though etch bath was about 10% hydroflouric acid only?? im unsure about that but the other ingredient is perchloric acid i believe. obviously you would want i good amount of hydroflouric acid as that etches the glass.

i use CAR PAINT that my pops get from his work, and pretty much add all the shit most ppl add, rub alc, dot3, maybe some dye if needed or aiming for a color u might want to get... or this method with acrlyic paint (tubes 50c ones) get a black or whatever color.,, get less then 1/4 of dot3 depends on the size of the container u gonna use or container to mix, about half the bottle of paint, and about 1/4 or less of dye must be the color of the paint FYI and than add alc to make it as thin as u like. (411, mixing is pretty much commen sense on HOW u want ur ink/paint. hope this helps..

You dont need anywhere that much dot 3. If any a capfull. dot 3 only helps give DYES more time to set, and seing as how the dyes are mixed with paint, they already will have an extended drying time. dot 3 will just make the paint oiley and act as a really shitty thinner that does nothing

Yo guys i got one of those window glass markers from michaels, the ink inside is actually not bad on posts and shit, but i need some ink. I can't find any homemade ways to make some ink for cheap and fast. Help me out?

hobo im just giving real easy ink recipe (wrong thread for it tho) so take some acrylic paint and mix with water and bit of nail polish remover comes out not bad and cheap. Especially if ur mom has nail polish remover. Or dad i dont care.
image.jpg both with homemade ink and markers

Got a krink k-4 marker for christmas a couple years ago and never figured it out. It doesn't write smoothly and to do a tag i have to pump it like 20 times for a little tiny tag. Am i using it wrong to is this marker just that shitty?

Lol why would u add nail polish remover to an acrylic based paint?
Acrylic/latex based ink/paint only need to be thinned with water.
Paint thinner acetone or nail polish remover(which is avCetone in a smaller over priced bottle)is what youd use for an oil based paint or ink.
If anything nailpolish remover will make acrylic or latex based paint thicker and chunky.
    Bad idea bro.

No hate btw just dropping some knowledge fron personal experience.
    Edit*
Honestly from experience the best thing to use to thin acrylic paint with is airbrush ink(also acrylic based and normally in the same isle at most arts and crafts stores, literally labeled airbrush ink with a eye dropper type deal on the cap).On its own airbrush ink is brightly colored and very runny but not that permanent or opaque when dry.How ever u mix one half acrylic tube paint(Same color as the airbrush shit unless u know ur colorwheel and wanna mix up some new color) with one half airbrush ink its makes a very trusty mop ink.The paint makes the airbrush ink more permanent and completely opaque while the ink thins the tube paint and brightens up the color. It also helps get rid of that pesky streaky/transperant paint problem u run into alot when just thinning ur acrylics with water.....i have flicks of tags done with this recipe floating around when im not so lazy ill upload em lol.
