Hello, i need some critics and advices, but first i wanna show you my progress so far and what advices i got from another people. the cat sketch i got: good: consistent bars bad: shit extensions/serifs advice: do keyboard letters so i did pages of straight letters (old one, too lazy to scan the newer ones, R and S are bad here) Picture 1 then advice to balance the letters Picture 2/3 so would be really cool if someone can give me crits, tips, advices. firestorm - keep doing simples for now like the other people said mate syco + queez - those simples are looking good semper - good stuff man looking killer as always moler - not actually a big fan of the whole grimy organic style but you can't please everyone i guess! keep at it tried to go a bit wilder for the evil battle but after the e and v it got a bit wack haha, probably do another one instead of submitting this but here it is anyway...
@Junglizt I dig the funk on the E and V bro! The extensions and overall shape of the L seem pretty off though. The top extension+arrow on the top of the L make it look like a C or G. The I isn't bad but I'm more than confident that you could bust out something better. Keep working homie!
thanks for the crit dude. yeah i know what you mean, by the end of it i wasn't feeling the i or l at all. I think the L would've been a lot better off without the top extension but i usually just add those in to try and balance the piece. Just need to get to grips with balancing the piece but keeping the letters looking right too i think. anyway onwards and upwards
