On the big one, the A looks a lot smaller than the other letters in a weird way, and on the one on the top, the A sort of looks like an F because of the way it's drawn into the D.
Thanks for the crits this post was basically to call dibs on the name. Better stuff to come. IMA hit the paper for a bit.
Yeah I'm in practice town ATM. Bot didn't flow for me my brain couldn't do it. Noad is perfect. Brb paper.
@Rone In the first picture, to me, the first letter looked a little like a G, because it seemed as if the the last part of the S and the top part were touching (giving it a closed-arc look like in a G). Also, for me the halo and the lines underneath it kind of threw it off a little, but other than that it looked good. The second picture I liked a lot more, I could clearly see that the first letter was an S and it looked nice. I would just say work on writing it in one motion, or two or three big motions, because I could kind of notice where you'd picked up your marker. Other than that, looking great!
Playing around on paper again. The bold one needs to sharpen up around the edges, but crits for anything else? Thanks!
@Eros I like the way the AZE goes together, but the line through the M seems a little weird. Overall it looks nice to me.
@Jackyl Thanks. I'll try it more simple without the line, maybe send or bend it in a different direction. Just beginning to tag so hopefully I can progress and experiment with different styles. Your letters are nice and simple with a sharp flow but it's hard to read with them all so close together, especially since they all mend together with straight (mostly) lines. Maybe try some tags spaced a bit a part and then play with the letters to fill the created open space. I'll do some exchanges with you (or anyone?) sometime.
@Eros Looking at your edited post, I really like the top tag of the second picture. Bring that Z and A a bit closer and it'd look great. The bottom one of the second picture was nice too, but the M was a little bit shaky. As for the last picture, I prefer the big, exaggerated letters of the first two pictures to the more conservative letters of the last one. Thanks for the crits of mine, I'll try playing around with the spacing, good idea. I'm up for exchanges any time, just shoot me a message. Also, what marker were you using for the above pictures?
