queez - fix the bottom part of the B, you have the right idea, its simple yet flowing, id probably flip the E back around for now, just keep practicing. loon and noad just keep practicing simple letters
@Queez, what Darkeist said, try and fix that B and flip around the E. Also make sure your bars are the same width for the most part, that O looks a little thick compared to the rest of the letters. @Darkeist For the first picture, the vertical bar of the D doesn't seem to flow with the rest of the letter, it's too angular or it's too close to the rounded part of the D. I do like the way you shaped your letters though, but keep it simple on the S, it's a little crazy. The second picture, not bad but for the top one, it doesn't really seem to have flow, rather the letters seem to just be put next to each other, again, I like the stylization of the letters. The second one, the O and S are too close together compared to the D and the E. The third picture, just try to make those letters flow a bit better for all three. Other than that, I like the way you shape the bars, just the way the letters fit is what's jumping out at me. Lol just noticed the bong in the second picture.
@Noad What Queez said. You have a habit of making your N's huge but then all the other letters comparatively small. Also, sharpen up those lines. Other than that, I'd say just practice on forming simple letters before trying to bend bars and all that. @QUEEZ That E flipped around looks so much better! I think the bottom of the B needs to be bumped out a bit more, but it's definitely an improvement from last time. But really, changing that E changed the whole flow of the piece.
@QUEEZ That looks so much better inked in! Liking the drop shadow and outline on it, but next time I'd use a felt-tip pen to get cleaner letter outlines and then ball point pen for the drop shadow. The B, R, and E all have a similar style, the O and D work good with the piece, but don't match the style of the B, R, and E. Not much of a problem, though, as a whole, it looks nice.
Word good looks on the tips and stuff next time I do that style I'll fix those letters. Anyone wanna do an exchange though?
