I am going to be real with you for a minute. You have dope letters, and you have that super nyce New York flavour. But we know the culture didn't come up in a Christian Fundamentalist Youth Center, there was far more Jewish and Muslim influence as well. What I am getting at the culture of writing is Universal, and I hoping you understand you are entitled to you religious beliefs, but you have already been on here with that heavy religious flow. Here is a documentary about the streets of New York in the 70's, you tell me how much time those Gang members spent at Christian churches. I realize in the Homes of the gang members, was a lot of Christian up bringing, especially with certain ethnicities, but it is only part of the picture, and not the solution for everyone. The history is the history, no need to sugar coat, or convert followers. We are not in need of any kind of SALVATION, we are already free bro. You have a blessed day.

I came up, with the ethics that Mr.Wiggles (Wigz) laid out (Rock Steady Crew, Electric Boogaloo, TC5, ZULU NATION CREW) he never put that religious shit on us, what is this all about brother. You know it is a culture of the PEOPLE and it is UNIVERSAL. We have too move forward together, and I don't see how this approach will unite, or save anyone. For real, I am just being honest.

These boards should be about open discussion, I will always fuck with New York, you have been in my ear phones, since the mid eighties, when I was a kid cross legged on the floor. I think we can use these boards to promote, knowledge and history. The Original Generation, needs their story to be heard. The current generation needs to take that strong cultural foundation of the culture (BBOY, MC, DJ, WRITER : Bound in Truth/Knolwledge/LIGHT.) but still needs to keep it fresh. While North America was quiet, Europe, France, Russia, Asia, South America, held down the culture down while we got attacked feverishly by the GOVERNMENT OF NORTH AMERICA. We need to bring it on in, and show the world how united we can stand. I don't care what you call your higher power, I got respect, even if it is hard to tell with poor social skill. Hip Hop was never about violence, the more we delve into it's roots, we will see it was founded to liberate the people, from crab in the bucket syndrome, of holding each other down. Healthy Competition breeds growth, for example check out BATTLEFEST out of Brooklyn, there is a modern tradition of the art form, that in itself is ELITE. They rewrote dancing in the street. That is one example of good cultural HIP HOP expression. There are a million more, when we return the elements to the original unified state, we will all be able to prosper.

In order for us to have real unity within our culture we need diversity, not conformity. If we are going to be united we have to accept people for their differences of style, language, religion, sexual orientation etc. We need to allow writers express their ideas and beliefs. I'm not putting anything on you. I'm just being real to who I am. Thanks for the comments.

I agree with you brother, I am glad you have spirituality in your life, I could never exclude you. I just thought from some of your other posts, you where excluding the muslims, jews and secular peeps that don't believe in god. I look at us all like family, for better or worse, we come together chat, look out for each other, share stories, information. New York needs to hear right now, the WORLD LOVES YOU GUYS we got tons of respect. Let's move forward, I consider you a brother, just for loving the same shit I do. Peace and Respect. One Love. That New York Flavour that Wigz put in the world literally saved me from drugs, ten years back.
