when it comes to tags seeing some fresh fat cap skills always gets me drooling. obviously i'm no pro, just a mediocre toy here, but since I first started using fat caps I've definitely made some improvements which is cool ------------------ reker it looks like your improving there nice work man, the top pic is nice, flows well, interesting style but its working for me. 3rd picture from the last (black marker with curvy E's) I really like it looks real nice man. my only suggestion would be to play around with removing a bit of that space between your letters. it's quite legible atm and moving your letters closer will probably make it harder to read but i reckon if you tweak it accordingly itll come out nice. yeah the red marker tag below that looks dope man. sweet sneak that top tag looks fucking sick hero all i can say is get your letters in proportion and quit extending the R and overlapping the O. just get them in proportion clean and flowing before you add in extentions and technicalities and whatnot. just my advice.
@Zays Go need to go back to the basics, I know it can be pretty boring but practice your regular keyboard letters. Make them look consistent and keep them the same size. Then when you feel secure on the keyboard letters you can start experimenting with adding your own lil style to it.
@Mits okey so i work now this ( sorry for english i'm from poland so sorry to much ) and if i progres simpe letter i give next screen Mits can u write this for me and send screen ? becouse i err and i dont know where i go ;/
nice page zays simplify the Z the bends on it make it look off and maybe lose some of the extensions on the S and maybe space your letters just a tad bit more something random
thanks lurker. yours reads caste right? with your A i think it would look better if you didnt have the bottom right bar connection to the middle bar and rather just separate and then have the middle connecting to your S. i think your E drops down abit to low and maybe lose some of the curves and bends in it it looks abit forced and maybe try to have your A closer to your C. hope that helped. keep at it man! spitze. i like your S and P in "3" but the other letters are no good right now man, look to forced. "1" could be a cool look all flat and long like that but again the S and P are only ones that look decent but the placement is off there too. just keep working at it man you will progress flick for talk, any crits always appreciated
hello friends, im currently a toy of the highest caliber looking to put in some work and get better at writing. I know these tags are not good at all, but any tips? things I did good, things that are absolutely bad?
grey at least you have kept it simple which is a good starting point man, they aren't that bad just keep doing what your doing and practice practice. top 3 are alright but the bottom one not so much, just fill page after page of tags and practice throws and straight letters too siro the bottom circle ones look cool but the letters look too clustered in the top ones
@Siro Letters are definitely just too clustered, the actual letters dont look too bad though. That R is major
little update because im always trying to improve. i've been liking my tags a lot more recently, you can see a couple of em in the sides. know im still a massive toy, but i've been feelin a little closer to getting out of toyhood. thought i'd try sketching up just a basic throw up, same as last time any opinions or tips are wanted and welcomed
Put the throwie in the throwies thread > http://www.bombingscience.com/graffitiforum/showthread.php?5058-Throwies But still, I'd say to round it off and change the x's to lines.
